Just got off the Fantasy VM... Castaway Cay was not decorated whic was really dissapointing and no gingerbread decorating.

We noticed that too about Castaway and was sad too.

no they just stand and wave (no proper meet neither so worst of both worlds)

Yes and the character will be waving at you while you walk through so no meet nor show

No character breakfast

Today, I was able to book a character breakfast for our January Pixar Day at Sea cruise.

I did see that the Pixar Day cruises were offering some sort of character breakfast (I'll add that to the first post.). I don't think they have been reported on any other cruise, yet.

That's really weird. We had a show in December 2021 when we were very much mid-COVID.

Im not sure what it was replacing. Sail away party is back but terminal meets arent for

Yes, the sail away parties are back. So, no mini show in the atrium. That's how it was when I started cruising and so I guess it's back to normal now!

The little show in the atrium was originally meant to stagger the muster drill check-ins. They would space families apart for the little show while the previous group of people went to their muster stations to do the modified drill, then they could go off on their own. At some point they kept doing the little show but stopped escorting passengers directly to the muster stations, and now the show is also gone.

I'm not sure if it was meant as a direct replacement for the sail away party, but I believe the big party is back on all ships.
