I just read about a few people talking about something called Sounds Dangerous. What is this??:confused:

It is a video show about special effects starring Drew Carey. Most of the time is spent in the dark, when I say dark, you cannot see your hand in front of your face. You wear headphones and there are loud noises.

It is of course, inside, and usually very cold inside so it is a way to beat the heat, but would probably be a bad choice for the small children who are not able to see Mom and Dad sitting next to them!

In my opinion it is worth trying once. I suspect you won't line-up to do it twice.:earsboy:

Certainly not an "E-ticket" attraction, but it is unique, and well done. Worth a try:earsboy:

a waste of time????
lol... hubby and I don't care for it at all.

If it intrigues you, go for it. If not, you aren't missing anything. We did it once, don't have any desire to do it again.

I can't believe we missed the Motor Show Parade to see this show. We will never ever do it again. Some people took their kids in and they spent the entire time crying in the dark. It was not entertaining at all, but it was relaxing...sitting in the dark in the air conditioning...that's all that's good about it.

While there aren't too many things at Disney that we purposely skip, I have to say that Sounds Dangerous is one! Sat though it last May and have definately crossed it off our list of things to do. We used to like the old show.. can't remember what it was called.... but it was an old house and Chevy Chase I think was in it. A salesman was going up to the door. Kids got picked from the audience to make the sounds to go along with the movie. It was much better than this Drew Carey version!!!:tongue:

I've actually sat through it 3 times, even though I can't stand it!!

I only saw it yesterday because it was hot, I was able to walk right in, AND I had time to waste before my fastpass time.

This show frustrates me, its not entertaining at all. And there is one effect towards the end of the show that seriously bugs me. How is that possible? We're in the theater, there is no reason we should be feeling what we feel (don't want to spoil anyone, lol)

Really, don't go out of your way to see it as it isn't all that great. Altho it IS good when you are tired and need a little nap since it's mostly in the dark. :)

We were disappointed as we do like Drew Carey.

P.S. We also liked the old show with audience members making the sounds...so funny when they played it back and everything was off.

::yes::

Its a good cool rest for about 20 minutes, I wouldn't miss anything major for this, only if you want a cool place to sit for a little while. Too dark for small children.
