How sweet of you to take your for your son and daughter in law. For what it is worth, I think your son derserves a lot more than a free day at Seaworld. Disney should do the same thing for our millitary. If it wasn't for him and the rest of the brave men and women, none of us would be traveling to Disney to enjoy a vacation. Please tell him Thank You.

Thank you. I love people that honor our men and women. To him it is just a job, but to a mother..eeks! He will turn 21 in 5 days, and he is in Balad Iraq!
I am so excited to share a disney trip with him and his wife. I talk to her every day about our plans. I can't wait until September, howver our first DVC trip is in 20 days.. trying not to get ahead of myself.

You know, Disney DID so something a few years back...that's the ONLY reason we got to go to WDW while we were stationed in Alabama...dh (active duty) got a free 5 day hopper, then up to five people could get a five day hopper for only $99. I wish they'd do that again...it was in 2003...I think it's about time for another deal like that!

I plan on upgrading to season passes as soon as I'm there. I still have one day tickets left over from last year. Any ideas on what to do with those?

Just hang on to them, they never expire. One of these days, there will be no more free dining, so you can use them to upgrade your ticket media then.

(Also, recommend you go to guest services and have the "removed" from your room key and put them away, that way they won't get accidently used) Also, they no longer have names on them at that point and you are free to use them for any family member you wish.

NOTE: I never subscribe to sharing or selling Disney tickets, but geez a one-day ticket that has never been used, as long as you don't sell it, I don't have any problems with a family member using it.
