What is package code SX6?

I just received a mailer from Disney that gives some general information and prices for staying on site. It doesn't list a specific percentage off or a particular discount. But, at the bottom is says to mention "package code SX6". Any idea what that would be? Thanks!

I got the same thing. I called but the gentleman on the phone made it sound like it was a deal for room only reservations not packages. Though I'm skeptical. I think it maybe a marketing tool. Anyone else with other info?

I got this today as well and now I'm super confused. Are the dates (in the above quote) the only dates the code is good for? My flier specifically said we could use this code to save on our trip in October.

I'm also confused because my rates are already $113 for a Value Resort Standard Room. I haven't had any other deals. So why would this be more?

Mine was for August and it was room only but the cm I had told me she could add tickets. It wasnt a great discount, not sure what but priced out almost the same as when I called with no code.

It is just an advertisement. It is not a PIN. The 3 digit code just lets them know how you became interested in getting a quote. Just a marketing tool.

Looking at resort rack rates for May the rates listed above are close or even a couple dollars more than rack rate if your including tax in the price posted above for Moderates and the values?

I've been getting those too, with dates based on what I put in to check room prices. I've been getting one just about everyday I price out a different resort! When I put the code, it's no different than booking without the code, so I thought this was the worst PIN in the world. Good to know it's just a marketing ploy, would be nice if it were a real PIN.

I have been getting one a day for at least a month now too, I did get one in snail mail too after I ordered Maps

I was wondering about this "pin" i mean Ad too! So glad I didn't send an email to my TA to apply it.

I got this mailer today... says its for dates in October, but prob. Only because I looked on their site for October dates, or said I was interested in Oct. When I ordered the DVD. "Code" is sx6, but really its just rack rate. I'm sure they get SOME bookings with these mailings, but not me... still holding out for a real pin. Valiant effort Disney!

I got the same exact info on my flier. I had shown interest in those dates and had ordered the DVD AND Maps. I was so fricken excited to see this "pin" code...only to realize it's not a pin. le sigh! Going to keep my off property reservation.

I also got this same email but for November lol. Sorry Disney, all I was doing was ordering the dvd with my god-daughters name on it so it was mailed to her, for her excitment. We will not be falling for your rack rates!

I am sure they do get people to book using this marketing tool.. they just unknowingly think it is one of those great codes.
