What is missing on MVMCP days for non-party guests?

Hi all,

We are going to WDW in early December and are trying to finalize our day to day schedule. Our group is 3 adults, a 4 year old and an infant. We have decided not to go to MVMCP. If we go to MK on party days instead of non party days I know it will be less crowded, but is there a comprehensive list anywhere of what entertainment we will miss versus going on a non party day? Is it just the fireworks or is there more we would miss?

Thanks!

Yes, the fireworks/night time entertainment is what you will miss. The park runs a normal schedule until the party time (usually 7:00).

Thank you. What is the night time entertainment? Is that just the fireworks or is there other unique entertainment at night?

There's a christmas themed parade and fireworks. Beyond special characters out for meets, I can't think of anything else that you would miss.

Is there a Christmas themed parade on non-party nights? I'm looking to figure out what we miss by going on a party day versus a non party day (since party days have lower crowds), not what we miss by skipping the party.

No, on non-party nights it is the regular fireworks and that's it. They do a castle light up show too, but that is usually done just after dusk, so as long as they keep the park open until 7 pm, you'll get to see that even on a party night. Right now, the calendar shows a 6 pm closing on party nights, so you may miss the castle light up show if they require non-party guests to leave by 6 pm.

No, the Christmas parade is only during parties.

Thanks, that is exactly the info I was looking for!

Thanks, that is what I thought.
