What is a guided tour?

Can anyone tell me about this? how much is it and what does it entail? do we get a special place to watch the parade?

There are several guided tours that are offered in WDW:

AK offers the Wild by Design Tour, and the Backstage Safari.

MK offers the Keys to the Kingdom Tour, the Family Magic Tour, Behind the Magic of the Steam Trains, and Mickey's Magical Milestone Tour.

Epcot has several: Dolphins in Depth, Hidden Treasures of the World, Undiscovered Future World, DiveQuest, Behind the Seeds (temporarily stopped), Gardens of the World, Aqua Tour, and the Segway Tour.

The Backstage Magic Tour visits 3 parks - MGM, MK & Epcot.

Although several of these tours get you 'front of the line' privileges on some of the attractions, I don't know that any get you special spots for the parade. However, some of the Epcot tours will get you a special spot for viewing Illuminations later that evening.
