What IS a grand gathering?

We have seen it refernced, but aren't sure what a grand gathering is? What is it? When is it offered (March??)? And, how much does it cost? We have a group of 11 going in March and wondered if we should check this out. Thanks!

A grand gathering is Disney's new "catch phrase" for groups of 8 or more people. The dates are whatever you want them to be. It is suppose to help you orgnize your trip for a large group (coordinate hotels, meals, etc.) and has the option of exclusive Grand Gathering (also know as magical gathering) add on's for extra $$$. There is no cost to be set up as a grand gathering.
