has anybody heard of a smart board? i have 1 and now im just realizing what if i use it in fireworks?
anybody who doesnt know what a smart board should ask here or search on google, im not good at explaining

I sell this product and a Smart Board is an interactive white board that allows you to manipulate programs and power points directly at the screen. I'm not sure what the latency of the mouse would be, but what a great idea.

I have heard of someone I know using this and it works for them great. I have never tried though.

yeah i should try it would be sweet playing fireworks on it :thumbsup2

my teacher use it for math and it awesome i sometime want to poke it lol it awesome but expensive

I see now that it's basically an interactive white board. How would this work with fireworks, does it make it easier; can you use your hands instead of a mouse? Can someone fill this clueless pirate in? Thanks! :thumbsup2

I tried fireworks on a Tablet PC. I scored better with a mouse but maybe with a little more practice... ?

yes you can touch/move the mouse with your hands instead of the mouse :thumbsup2 , it seems to make it easier, i tried it just now and i scored 20,000 points higher than what i normally did, but its not mine its my uncles, so i wont be using it always

I can understand how that would make clicking on the fireworks accurately easier, but what about switching the type of firework? Since that doesn't use the mouse, wouldn't you have to do something else?

Ty for that info. One more question. What do you use to pick the firework you normally pick with your arrow keys?

just think as if you had a normal computer with just an enormous screen which you can touch you would still have the keyboard, but probably on your lap, since you wouldn't want to be so close to the screen

the same, you use your keyboard, or you can buy these things that games use, which you connect through a USB output, its shaped in many different ways, but mostly it looks like a square about the size of where your buttons are on the right side of the keyboard, you pick which keys you would have normally picked (in this case left and right arrow keys ) and you define them as whatever you want, in doing so its like having a remote control :-)

Oh I am so very jealous of you. They have them at my school, but we just write with the markers. When I first saw it, all I could think was what vmk would be like on it. Very cool you have the chance to see! :thumbsup2

surprisingly, i never thought of this................. let me know how it works!!!

p.s. maybe i'll just give you my password and you can play for me!!!! lol!!! jk!

My school has about 50 SmartBoards and boy... I feel like I've maintenced all of them. Some teachers, no offense, are clueless as how to use them and everyone 'recommends' me to help them. These things are awesome, but I wouldn't recommend playing fireworks on it, because you might tap it too hard and make it fall. And, well there goes thousands of dollars of equipment. Students aren't allowed to touch them without permission.
