what do you do? Show proof of purchase? Or are you just out of luck?:(
Should I make copies of my tickets to be on the safe side?

YES!!! Make copies of the back of the tickets. If you ordered them from disney.com, keep the receipt that came with the tickets along with the copies of the ticket backs. Take all of this with you on your trip. If you lose your tickets, you can show the info that you saved to the CMs at the TTC, and they will be able to replace your tickets.

Hope this helps!

This just happened to us. It was actually taken. I used the fastpass machine, turned around took a couple of steps and went to put everything away. I noticed I was missing one hopper card. By the time I stepped back to the machine it was already gone! I ended up going to guest services and because I had purchased a resort hopper when I checked in at the front desk of our hotel and had the other one still with me they did a track and cancelled the lost one and reishued a new one!:Pinkbounc I was lucky! I think what you would need to do if you bought one elsewere is make copy's FRONT & BACK, have your reciept and dont leave it at the hotel or you will be hoofing it back to your hotel before contining on your way.

Have a good trip!

I washed all our tickets on our trip this past November after our FIRST day there!!! I had the tickets on Day 1 and shoved them in my back pocket. I thought I would be efficient and do a load of laundry the first night so it wouldn't pile up. I was taking laundry out of the washer to toss in the dryer and saw these pieces of paper with a partial magnetic strip on the back. I had no idea what they could be. I check my room key (we stayed a VWL) and that was intact. Then the realization hit me - it was the park tickets!!! I was sooooooo upset with myself. It was our first trip with our kids. I purchased the tickets at AAA before leaving home and had not copied down the serial numbers. For some unknown reason, I did have the receipt from AAA with me. I thought the serial numbers were on there, but the CM at Guest Relations at MK said they weren't the serial numbers. After 20 minutes or so, they issued us new tickets for the number of remaining days, and the new tickets expired in 10 days or so. That was fine with me because we planned on using all the days. It was a huge relief to have them reissue our tickets. I did not touch the tickets the rest of the trip. I gave them to my DH and said I didn't even want to see them! DH was very understanding. I'll never touch a park pass again!!! That is now DH's job!
