What if it rains?

I am really hoping this wedding happens in WDW, and I am sorry that I keep asking questions lol, but I have been trying to read people TRs for their weddings to see the pictures of the ceremony site and reception sites and what not. But for the most part, the TRs I have read so far no one (thankfully) has had a problem with weather and most of their ceremonies were out doors.

So does anyone know where exactly Disney would put you if you did have inclement weather? Now that this wedding has perhaps changed to an Aug wedding, I worry about hurricanes and the craptastic weather we had this past August (constant rain for 3-4 days).

It depends on where your location is. If you are getting married at Sea Breeze Point, for example, the rain location is usually a Boardwalk convention center ballroom. However there is a bride on here who got rained out of SBP and her back up location was the Wedding Pavilion. I don't think this is always the case though - you can't confirm backup locations until one month prior to the wedding. Most backup locations will be a ballroom...so if you are afraid of getting rained out and really don't want to get married in a ballroom - you might want to consider another location. We had a ridiculous amount of rain on our wedding day but thankfully our ceremony was already inside at the Wedding Pavilion. Our cake cutting/champagne celebration was scheduled for Commander's Terrace in the GF (Escape wedding), however that was moved to Whitehall room/patio as the rain location. It was moved the day of our wedding because all the weather reports prior to that called for only a 20% chance of rain.
