What I want for Christmas is...

I would like more time to travel and take photographs. Ok, that *and* a medium format digital, like a Phase One.

Three weeks ago I would have said the Canon 5D (or a later present with it's replacement) to play around with full frame and my lenses.....now I wish it was four weeks ago instead.

Similar but no duct tape, and Pentax Silver instead of Canon White.

No, no lenses fancy enough to warrant the silver paint job... and this old Vivitar beast is impressive to look at but is not likely to win any image quality awards! But should still be fun for the occasional long-zoom shot. It'll probably stay in the hotel room most days, and in the stroller on the days when I do bring it (I'm thinking to Animal Kingdom and maybe Magic Kingdom.)

I did pick up a circular polarizer at the same time as the Vivitar, we'll see how that works on Orlando's blue skies.

Bob, I totally agree about that... except that I don't more time NOW, I want LESS time before the next trip... then more like after the trip to go through the pictures! I go back to work about 10 hours after my plane lands back home...
