I haven't ever seen anything out of the ordinary. I should start paying more attention. When I drive though, I tend to not ever look at the people by me. I just make sure I don't do it. Not sure why, but yeah. haha.

How 'bout, "I've arrived and getting there was everything I thought it would be and then some"?

I drive an hour to an hour and a half to work every day. Mostly through horrible traffic. This morning I was behind a lady putting on her makeup driving down interstate (in the left lane), holding up everyone behind her, and leaving a huge gap (about 3/4 of a mile) between her and the car in front of her so tons of cars were going down the right hand lane getting in front of her and she would slam on brakes for no reason at all (I think she just had her foot on the brake pedal and whenever she saw red lights out of the corner of her eye, she stopped). So I went around her and then apparently she put the makeup down because she was on my butt the rest of the trip.

A woman reading the bible. (had it on the steering wheel) She also seemed to be praying maybe? :confused3 She was very short, maybe 5'0'' tall. And drivign a VAN. :faint:

Your signature says you're married to a firefighter, right? I can think of some good ones about firefighters...

At least the bible might have been of some help if she went off the road and ended up in that ditch. ;)

If I put make-up on in the car I would look like a circus clown!

Even if it's a personal call? He was definitely on a personal call.
How would you know that?
I saw a woman driving down the street plucking her eyebrows. She was using 2 hands so she must have been steering with her knees or something.

Today, though, I was behind a driver that had a hard time staying in his lane. I figured that he was on a cell phone until we got to a red light and I passed him since I was turning. He was driving while holding drumsticks and was drumming on the steering wheel!
Gosh, I may know that person!!! I had a friend who would drum all the time. I tried that couple of times, but steering with your knees gets a little challenging.

Ive seen quite a many strange things while driving. Here are just a few:
-woman eating a bowl of soup
-woman eating steak (maybe it wasn't steak, but it was a fork and knife)
-man shaving face with electric/battery razor
-people reading books/maps/magazinez/newspaper
-various burger eating
-nose picking
-woman shaving her leg (cream and razor)
-applying makeup
-tweezing
-changing clothes
-curling hair
-brushing teeth

It does sound like something my 15yo son would do when he's driving, which is why he won't have his license for a very long time. The man doing the drummer was not a young guy, either. Aging hippy I think. :teeth:

If I were going to shave my legs when driving I would at least use a rechargable shaver that doesn't require shaving cream!

Ohhhh, trust me, I've probably already heard it! ;)

Coming back home from the DIL's on New Year's night, DH and I pulled up at a stoplight and noticed the guy next to us eating something with a fork and knife in the car next to us. I urged DH to get ahead of him and stay there..I was a little freaked out.

But I've seen people doing all sorts of odd things while driving. My favorite is when people do car-dances. You know..you can see them mouthing the words to some song and sort doing a little in-your-seat dance along with the music. It's pretty funny sometimes. And I have to admit, I do it too. I car-dance at stoplights.

I bet you have! :teeth:

TOV, we do get a kick out of seeing people car dancing. Some people REALLY get into it, which makes me wonder what they do at home when nobody is watching.

I saw a guy with the whole box of trivial pursuit cards reading them driving down the road!

Here people don't buckle up kids. I've seen many, many drivers trying to see around little ones that are on their lap, or between the driver and the door. Yikes.

DH used to drive with his knee :rolleyes2
Katy :sunny:

well, to tattle on myself, someone saw me painting my toes at a stoplight this morning...it's the perfect place for a touch up, just put the air on to the floor and they dry as you are driving!

Don't worry, the light is a LONG light and it was a quick touchup...the guy next to me was laughing.
