This is an awesome thread!! My DH feels very much the same way! We went on a family Disney Cruise back in December.... my sister and I are totally addicted to these boards.

The slipper thing is a dessert. It is Cinderellas slipper made out of chocolate that you can order from the GF bakery. Do a search for Cinderella Slipper Dessert and you will find a lot of posts on it. It cost about $14 from what I understand and many people say it is big enough for two to share.

Okay, I've been on this board (reading) for MONTHS ....... as you can tell by the # of posts, I just started "talking" recently.

We are going on our THIRD 4th of July trip to WDW this year (DH has declared it our new "family tradition" to watch fireworks @ MK) and we're buying APs (he's convinced we can go multiple times since we live so close). We are BOTH "addicts" (hence the name) BUT ........ somehow, somewhere I missed this "free sundaes" thing!?!? What's that about????

I just found this site and cant stop reading all the trip reports. I am completely addicted. The sad thing is that being a military family in the UK, Florida vacations will have to wait. Even knowing that I cant stop visiting this place . My husband thinks Im crazy. I tell him I just want to be a big part of the DIS crowd. He smiles and I keep reading.

There are plenty of assignments in Florida. My husband is in the AF and that is where we are going next! I can't wait! We are moving to Tampa.

Wow, a Florida assignment. That would be HEAVEN We too are in the Air Force and honestly loving our tour here in England. We dont have a DEROS at the moment. We are holding out for the best assignment either in Europe or any state that has sunshine. If I lived in Tampa AP's would be the way for me. I would live at DW

Ok so im trying to plan a vacation right ?.......So we decide on Disney......

The next thing you know my kids are coloring envelopes for mousekeeping ????? what is that ? they have mice there ?

And then im in Lowes Hardware the other day and she is looking at paint samples...I asked " what are you looking at those for ?" Im looking for a paint chip with mickey on it.....And im making you wear a greenie......What is all this about.....

I havent seen my wife in weeks she is too busy on this website....

When I first started on the DIS I wasn't sure what DH meant and I had a supervisor at work who was in the process of leaving her husband and all ways refered to him as D.H., at first I though it was actually his name till she told me what it really ment... well the the H stood for head and we will leave it at that. So when all the wives on the DIS we calling their husbands DH I thought that it wasn't very nice, I was glad when I found out it ment Disney Husband.

OMG DH said it didn't mean disney or husband!!!

my DH thinks i am a bit nuts to. our family is so disney obbessed that we are actually going to vacation sept 12-18 then sept 25 we are moving there premamently.

This is too, too funny! My DH also thinks I am crazy for spending so much time on the DIS boards. I do much more reading than posting since I haven't been to WDW since I was young and don't have much to add, but all of that changes next month!
I have learned so much from the DIS that I know we will have a great trip!

It is good to know I am not alone in this crazy addiction that does seem to get worse the closer we get to our trip!

I am another DIS addict. We went to Disney in June, and I am planning our next trip in October 2007. My DH can't understand why I spend so much time on these boards! I got so many tips on these boards for our last trip, that I don't want to take a chance I will miss any for our next one! This is truely an addiction and consumes tons of my time!!! Better to be addicted to this board then other things though, right? I think my DH has given up on me at this point! He is not a big Disney fan at all, so I think I will be taking my kids by myself next time, or with my dad or sister. You are all so funny!!!

HI gang! This thread is a hoot My hubby gave into to the DIS years ago He even asks me when he comes in ... what did you learn today -- or did you tell others? Gosh I have been using this site for over 10 years when we planned last trip (however forgot name so had to make new one)
