I have finally witnessed this in person! Just look at this...we have Hopesdaddy posting for the very first time! Hopesmommy, you are to be congratulated! You have done an amazing thing...you actually got your DH to register and post!

...of course you know I mean this in the very best possible way...er, and the fact that I was a "hopesmommy" 16 years ago makes me an expert...sort of...er, doncha think?

I just read the post to DH because I was laughing so hard and DH sctually asked why I was laughing. He said he had to support BO Team OW.

DH knows he has lost the whole vacation debate. Between DD and me, he cannot say no.

We were suppose to go next year with friends, but they told me they cannot go until 2008. I was so upset DH said maybe we could go for a short trip next year or at the end of this year. I talked him into this year. When I told our friends we were going back this year and in 2008 with them, they said don't you want to expose DD to something new.

I figured at some point DD might want to do something different. Not that I would want that, but I am going to take her as often as possible for as long as possible. Besides we can always go to the beach here in TX if we want for a long weekend. There is not as much stuff to do at a beach for a week.

I started this obsession last year for our August trip, Tom thought I was crazy! Well he isplanning our Anniversary and well HE reads this as much as I do, I come home from school and he says did you read about the ...
It sure is a good thing that we work different shifts no fighting over the DIS, but when we are together we read over each others shoulder

OK, I have to say the same has happened to me. Many, many moons ago, my DW and I used to go to the beach, travel to different states, and plan a wide variety of activities. However, 4 children and a job at the Disney Store later (pre-sale of the store), we now average 3 trips to WDW per year. The kids plan on a regular basis, and they've now collaborated with my DW to schedule trips based on holidays. You think it's bad right now, just wait till after the trip! So far, we've stayed at the Animal Kingdom Lodge, Grand Floridian, Polynesian, Beach Club, PO French Quarter (2 times), PO Riverside (3 times), Caribbean Beach (2 times), All-Star Movies, and All-Star Music, and will be at the Caribbean at the first of March. Plans for Boardwalk in October are underway, and my DW stated yesterday that she would like to sneak away without the kids for a long weekend in July. There is no beach, no outside places, only WDW, an 11 -hour drive away. Just get used to it... your vacation world will soon be run by a mouse and his friends. Not that I'm complaining...

Oh for goodness sakes! Here is ANOTHER Disney Dad registering and making HIS first post here today! There must be something special about this thread...better watch where you're sprinklin' that pixie dust, First-timer...it's powerful stuff!

I heard of a guy once that lost his wife for 12 years.......She was Dis surfin the whole time. Took almost a full year to de-program her.

First-timer I agree with you! However, I had no choice on the . I walked the Breast Cancer 3 Day Walk in June and DH crewed it. He had to have a .

As for DHs posting, now if us DWs could just get them to look at another thread! They will definately understand why we look like . But for my DH, he is always just on the wrong websites.

Know what?...we need a Guys Board...you know, where they can find out from other guys where to watch things like the Super Bowl, the World Series or a special home game they might miss seeing during their (court mandated) time at Disney...

My DH saw how many posts I have and said in his work in computers and all the boards he has ever posted on in his entire life combined, he has not posted as many as I have on the DIS. I tried to tell him mine was relatively low.

I have to stop myself from referring to him as DH in general conversation.

I try to limit myself to 2 or 3 DIS related comments per day. It's getting harder the closer we get now.

If I tell him something about anything, he starts to say...where did you hear that? Oh, nevermind, must be the cult, I mean DIS. If I ask his opinion on something he says, "What do you buddies on the Dis have to say about it?" The bad part is, I have usually already asked it here!
