What has been your longest stay at a Disney property?

10N/11D - December 17-27, 2014
10 Year Anniversary
APs @ that time (Had trip planned for awhile, DVC had special on AP which would have been equivalent of length of stay tickets) -- so did last minute trip May 2014, used again June 2015; added 17th since saved over $200 for leaving 1D early. Using DVC points, was able to get the 1N @ AKL-Jambo. 18th- 21st, VGF (18th actual anniversary). 21st-27th, BLT. We did the IllumiNations fireworks cruise on the 18th. MVMCP on 19th. Christmas In-Room Celebration while @ VGF. Christmas Tree exchange @ BLT. Photography Session @ VGF, Gingerbread House & tree were awesome. Used photos for Christmas 2015 cards, Disney theme.

The 1N @ worked well & didn't try to change resorts since always wanted to see Christmas decorations & tree @ AKL, ate breakfast @ Boma, which we love. Most days started early. Had 3 PPO breakfast during trip - Akershus, CP & H&V. Stayed @ parks entire time. So started early until late dinner, or started with late breakfast until park closed. No pools, ended up being cold on our trip up until Christmas Eve. Pleasant during day. 1st few nights, jackets & gloves. We were prepared.

1D HS/EP, 1D AK/DS, and several MK/EP days, trying to see different countries Christmas storytelling. Did CP day after Christmas just to see Blair Underwood. Originally was going to see it on Christmas Eve. DD did BBB on Christmas day. We were walking down Main St. @ 6:58am, AWESOME photo, and no crowd. We accomplished so much by noon, then ate @crt, then used 3 FP+, then left park. Did Mickey's Backyard BBQ for Christmas dinner with characters in Christmas attire for photos. After dinner did the Holiday Carriage Ride. We did go back & forth to BLT while there, reason stayed here @ end of stay to walk to MK/BLT & not wait on transportation. Went back to resort to get away from crowds, look around Contemporary. Knew crowds would increase closer to Christmas, which it did. 1st 4-5 days were better than our February and day after Memorial Day trips.

8 days. We did a park each day and we opened and closed them.

Would love to stay longer, but would probably have to adjust our touring style just a bit.

6 nights is longest I've ever stayed. Usually 4 or 5 nighrs.

On property...it was our May trip this year. We stayed 1 night at AKL and 14 nights at SSR for a total of 15 nights/16 days. We had 10 day tickets, so we did a few days at the pool during the day and then DTD at night (we ended up upgrading to APs, but wasn't sure we would at the time). Previously we have had 14-night onsite trips and even a trip where we were in FL for 6 weeks and hopped on and off site.

The longest I have stayed is 22 days on property, and I did it twice. :smickey:

In 2005: I celebrated my 30th birthday by coming to Walt Disney World. We stayed 2 nights at The All Stars Movies resort - Fantasia building. 10 nights at The Wilderness Lodge. And 10 nights at The Boardwalk Inn.

Then in 2010: We decided to have our Honeymoon at WDW. We stayed 2 nights at The All Stars Sports resort - Football building. 10 nights at The Wilderness Lodge - Honeymoon suite. And 10 nights at The Yacht Club - Concierge with lake/Boardwalk view. :cheer2:

On both visits we only stayed on Disney property and we had AP's with the Water Parks add-on. So we did both water parks of course, but in between we had resort days by the pool (incl. laundry day), water park days (1 day / park), Mini Golf, Downtown Disney (now Disney Springs) and visiting other resorts and their restaurants, renting boats on Bay Lake and I also went Parasailing from The Contemporary Resort marina. We sure filled all 22 days on both visits - No problem! :thumbsup2

(And as you can see in my signature, I am planning a new visit to WDW, and I'll come back to do it all over again!) :woohoo:

:tinker:

I did 10 nights of Disney only in 2009. It was just a very laid back trip. We basically did 1/2 - 3/4 days at the parks and spent the rest of the time hanging at the pool or resort. It was nice, but as the kids got older they prefer a faster pace. Our 2013 trip was 9 nights with two days at Universal and it was perfect. We still did mostly 3/4 days at the parks because we don't need to see everything. This years trip will be very similar except we have to do a split stay.

We just arrived in Orlando for 3 nights off property and relaxing with a few night shows. In a couple days we are checking in for our 16 night stay on property. What will we do? Lots of parks, water parks and then sleep. It's nice not feeling you have to hit the parks hard and can go to a water park/ pool mid day and take kids at night for a few hours and hit a meal/show. Thanks to people here, I'm having no problem reserving things to do (except taking Disneyquest out of the AP that the kids wanted. :( )
Should be fun. Love having y'all give us ideas.

We did 10 nights in August. Arrival day was a 12 hour delay so we lost an entire park day. 3 park days (one being 1/2 day with a late start) followed by a rest day. 2 full park days followed by a rest day that was initially going to be a water park day but the kids wanted to do SAB instead. Then two more park days (one being a late start). Departure day was lounging at the resort since we had DME at 2 pm. We could have hit Epcot for the morning since we had an extra days ticket but everyone was tired.

We usually do 11 or 12 nights, and split stay between Universal and Disney. The longest just Disney was 14 nights in a rented RV at Ft Wilderness summer of 2013. Next month is 4 nights Sapphire Falls (onsite Universal) followed by 7 nights AKL Jambo Concierge. I always say I am going to shorten it because I start to really miss my dog and home on day 8. I start getting diminishing returns after the full week but I tough it out :thumbsup2

We did 15 nights over Thanksgiving in 2015. We stayed 6 nights at Poly & 9 nights at GF, both club level (our 1st time!). It was incredible! We did several Christmas parties, my daughter dressed up in a few fancy dresses for photo shoots around magic kingdom - she was asked by a lot of people which princess she was and if they could get pics. It was truly magical. We had some mornings that we stayed in our hotel & relaxed. We didn't feel rushed and still did so much more than I could have guessed.

9 days in 2014.

2 days MK
2 days HS
3 days Epcot
1 day AK.
Last day hung at resort until we headed to the airport.

7 nights/6 park days. We had park hoppers, so we would move from place to place as we wished. We took a couple of afternoons to use the pool, explore the campgrounds. Our first night we didn't go to the park, but watched Wishes & water parade on the beach at the campground. We used one night to go to DTD and another to watch the movie at the campground after going to HDDR.

Wow! It was probaly full of magic as well!

Yeah I heard with longer vacations people fit in IOA and US! Sounds like it was a fun trip!

Sounds pretty relaxing! What outlets do you go to?

Congrats! Hope it was a magical trip! 14 days seems like so much fun!

Wow sounds like a packed trip! Where did you stay at Disney and Uni?

Pop Century at Disney, Cabana Bay at Universal!

Several years ago I did 10N/11D--it was a very relaxing way to do WDW, and I loved it. These days, the trips are more like 7 nights, which seems almost not enough!

In February, the people staying next door to us at SSR were there for their yearly month-long stay. Now that's taking it easy! Sounded great to me.

And a few years ago, when I was staying at AKL, there was a rumor that a couple who were in a pool-view room had been there for several months. But I can't verify this.

24 nights in August 2015 and got married on the 6th day. We took shuttles over to Universal two days to really do WWoHP. We were in at least one theme park for at least a small part of every single day except our departure day (including the wedding day) we had an absolute blast and if I could go another two years without taking a day off work again I'd do it again in a heartbeat.
8 nights - Boardwalk Inn (request for king bed granted)
15 nights - Coronado Springs King Room
1 night - Polynesian (free from our cumulative bookings for our wedding)
