What has been your longest stay at a Disney property?

10 days in the Grand Floridian when I was 6 years old. I don't remember specifically how long we were in the park each day, but my father was definitely a commando (learned it from him). RD every morning, save for 2 off days and a waterpark day.

I do remember specifically having an Alice in Wonderland tea party with my sister in the GF on an off day. Still one of my favorite Disney memories :)

This is our first trip and we are doing 7 nights/ 8 days but our arrival day we are spending at DS and exploring our resort. I have planned on 2 days at AK, 2 days at Epcot, 1 day at HS, and 2 at MK with MNSSHP the evening before we leave.

We have done two 6 week stays at WDW. They were amazing trips. We come all the way from Australia and visit every 2 years. Due to the cost of flights, it works out much better financially to take longer trips.

In 2013, we spent just 6 weeks at WDW. We arrived at WDW, stayed for 6 days, left to do a 4 day cruise on the Disney Dream and then came back for 5 weeks. We did the Halloween parties, the Christmas parties, the Wild Africa Trek. We slept in most days, hit the parks late and stayed until close (there was a few 3am MK closes) We took things as it came, if we wanted to stay around the resort we did, if we wanted to head into the park we did. It was a wonderful way to just relax.

In 2015, we had a 6 week trip. We stayed at AKL for a week, left to do a 7 day cruise on the Disney Dream (back to back 3 day and a 4 day) and then back to WDW for 4 weeks. We toured exactly as we did in 2013. We slept in, we closed down the parks. One day due to the park being rained out we were literally the last people in the park. We rode the Mine Train 10 times back to back. We had no idea there was no one left in the parks until a few CMs along Main Street told us the park was literally being kept open for us. Security was waiting for us to close the gates. Apparently we had been the only people in the Kingdom for the past 50 minutes. We felt bad keeping everyone (the park hadn't passed the official close time, the rain had just been that bad and it was almost midnight) but it was also amazing to realise we were the only ones in MK.

Anyway, long trips are truly amazing. No pressure to "have to do something today", our maximum wait time is 20 minutes, if we feel like leaving the parks we do.

Read about a family that sold their house and bought a camper and APs and moved to FW campgrounds for a few months (homeschoolers)!!!! Anyone else remember this?

10 days. It was the perfect length of time to approach everything in a relaxed manner. We went to a park or water park every day but did not need to do open to close. It was perfect! All of my trips since then have been 5 nights/4 days in parks. Definitely like the longer trip better for relaxing and taking it all in.

14 nights, but two days spent at Universal. Flying from Europe, we didn't know when we would be able to afford a trip again, so had to make the most of it - as we are doing with our upcoming trip (4 years later) with 2 weeks again.

12 days I think. Any trip over 7 days we usually do a beach day (Honeymoon Island, gulf side) and once we rented a boat and cruised to the barrier islands north of Clearwater. If we go to Seaworld or Universal we usually do that first for a day or two, then finish the trip with our WDW stay.

We were just there for 13 days and 12 nights. No hoppers. We did Disney Springs, AK - 2, HS - 2, MK - 3, EP - 3, Typhoon Lagoon & Blizzard Beach. We stayed at POP Century and had a great time. It is going to be hard going back to a normal 10 day vacation!

We stayed for 12 days and 11 nights a few years ago before kids. It was in October so we had a lot of fun at the FW Festival and MNSSHP. But I have to admit that because the parks were less crowded back then...I think that we'd had our fill by about day 10. The last day we really didn't care where we went that day.

Given the increased crowds nowdays, plus having kids that enjoy the pools/waterparks, I think that we could probably do a two week stay with some breaks spaced in and have a great time. Now coming up with the $$$ to do that as a party of 4 now.....:scared:

11 days split, first 9 at BW, last 2 at POFQ, lately we've dialed it back to 10. As we were being driven to POFQ on that 11 day trip we agreed that if we were to go to MCO at that moment we'd have had our fill. We enjoyed the last 2 and would have taken more if given time and a room but 10 works for us.

We gave up Commando Touring in 2005 when we went the first 10 days in January and discovered the joys of skipping EMP early at RD instead hitting a non-EMH park for that RD. We'll hit the pool on Sat afternoon this Oct, WS will be crazy busy, and we may rent a surry bike before hitting Raglan Road. We don't rush as much as we used to but we still get lots in our days and evenings.

12 nights/13 days this past June. Six nights BCV, six nights BLT. We had two full days off from the parks, one during each half of the trip, mixed in a couple of half-days, and took breaks at the resorts daily. It was heaven.

10 days in 2002 at the Swan. I remember it rained a lot. Now, we do 5-7 days, two or three times a year.

We just got back from 12 days/11 nights. 10 days in the parks, 1 day off, nothing on the arrival day either.
