What happens to ADR's if we change....

Ok, not sure where to put this question. I currently have a package booked with the DDP. We are in hopes of FD for October, but if not we are going to do a room only because we have AP's. (We are staying 13 days, so FD is still a better deal if offered- even if we have to buy 2 day tix). So we have ADR's for CRT, MBYBBQ, and Aloha- which all required that we attatch our DDP to not have to pre-pay. If we then change to room only, will our ADR's get cancelled automatically because we no longer have the DDP on our reservation? We will still be going, we would then buy the TIW, and pay OOP. I would assume I would have to then pre-pay, or do they even notice that the reservation has been changed? Has this happened to anyone else?

I am curious about this too.
And is it only dinner shows (and CRT) that need cc#'s or prepayment? I thought I saw something about charges for character meals as well.

I'm not 100% sure on this. I doubt they'd be flat out canceled and my gut tells me that they'd just be kept, but you'd pay when it came time to pick up tickets (or dine in the case of CRT).

Only the dinner shows and CRT require full prepayment (if not on an applicable dining plan).

All character meals (and other meals at the same restaurant that may not have characters) and signature meals require a CC hold of $10 per person. This means that if either you attempt to cancel on the same day (for a couple places it is 2 days, check with your individual ADR's policies for those, thinking it's just Akershus and F! packages) or flat out don't show up, they will charge the card on file that amount (V&A is $25 and 2 days). If part of your party shows up, there should be no charge.

We had free dining booked, then booked CRT. Then cancelled our resort reservation because we were able to trade into DVC from our timeshare. Our reservation was just fine....in the end we added the dining plan for DVC stay and used it to pay for our meal anyways, but it was a non-issue if we decided to pay for it OOP at the time.
