What happened to Forum (Database) yesterday??

Just wondering why this forum wasn't working for about 8 hrs yesterday (1-4)??????

The 'search' function is primarily to blame for the board crash of yesterday.

It will esentially be non-functioning for a week or two, as the database is restored to operation.

Lisa , thanks for the info. Does this happen very often? Been a DVC member for 3 yrs, but just found out about this site in Dec.
