Just venting here, but . . .
In February we flew United for our WDW trip. On the way back we were stuck in Chicago for hours -- loaded on to two separate planes and then unloaded -- because of mechanical difficulties. To compensate us for our trouble, United gave each of us a $50 travel certificate to use on a future flight. Naturally, they cannot be used with an internet purchase.
By calling United, I found the exact same flight was almost $100 more to purchase over the phone versus the internet.
I don't believe I'll ever be able to use them. Anyone with a good idea?
