what exactly is bounceback?

I hear everyone talking about it, and i have heard alittle about what it is.

It's an offer made to you to bring you back to that place of business. Bouncebacks at WDW are usually a % off room discount or free dining offered to people staying at the Resorts to book a trip back to the resorts for next year. You have to book your stay before you leave. It's just a way to get you to come back next year.

I just got back from Disney and no bounceback offer. Instead, info with the free dining that is already out.
