Can someone explain this experience to me...and is it worth the frequently posted 50 minute wait (according to UT app).

Thanks!

You are "magically transported" to Beast's Castle and interact with Belle during a brief retelling of their story. The experience features a couple of impressive effects and animatronics.

I have to second that - it is worth the wait
We did it on Monday and I am still amazed as the Magic Mirror!!!!

the magic mirror is really cool. I knew it was coming and still couldn't figure it out. mesmorizing sp?? is the best way to describe it. I would see it once but unless you have little kiddos I'd prob skip it on my return trip.

It is more or less a show in which the audience particpates in telling the story of Belle. We did this attraction during Christmas Party, which was perfect for us as I have a 2 year old. Each show takes about 12-15 which is part of the reason for the wait time. For us it was totally worth it, my 2 year old got to be Chip and she thought it was awesome. I loved watching her. I can see where some adults might consider it a waste of time for them. I would give it a shot at least once.

It is DEFINITELY worth the wait. I'd say go do it first thing in the morning, or at least within the first half an hour of the morning to go.

It's an interactive meet & greet. The cue involved Belle & Maurice's cottage, then you're into Maurie's inventing room, and you are transported magically to the castle where the wardrobe kinda explains everything. The CMs will "cast" the story with the guests, and then you're put into the library where Lumiere (REALLY AWESOME EFFECT) helps tell the story before Belle comes in and you all help "tell the story of Belle & the Beast falling in love" it's a really cool thing and it's definitely worth it!

It is worth the wait even for us adult parties :goodvibes The interactive story is cute (and my mom was the wardrobe), but the technical effects are really entrancing and I'm still wondering how it works!

My DW and I agree. Great effects.. Definately have to bring the kids to it next time..

We only saw 35 minutes max during the dress rehearsal. I would go if only to see the magic mirror effect! Its really amazing!!
It will be much more fun if you participate, so volunteer!!

Saw it yesterday and it's just a lot of hype. Lots of people are disappointed. The magic mirror is the nicest thing, and worth seeing once anyway. Other than that, if you have small children that would get excited having a part, then this is for you. Just sort of silly for Belle to get all emotional about a little toddler playing the part of *beast* (was a girl, at that ;)) It seems like the toddler and younger children playing the parts doesn't fit in with the story being told :confused3 The setting is beautiful though.

I went to this yesterday - waited 30 min alone because DH, DS11 and DFIL had none of it :) I loved the cottage and the mirror was amazing...but...I was a little underwhelmed by the Belle part. I couldn't even manage to get a picture of her - she kept turning and mostly faced away from me. I knew only those picked got pics with her and I stayed back for kids to get picked but it would have been nice to be able to get one clear shot of her. It was lovely and the dresser and lumiere were awesome and for kids totally worth the wait, but for me, just a little underwhelming. Not sure what I expected but past the mirror that wasn't really it.

That mirror was very cool. I video taped it because I had read about it from you guys and even watching the video last night I couldn't figure it out. The fact that they do it in small groups was a great idea. My kids loved it.....Daddy too :thumbsup2

Thanks everyone!! Is this open during late magic hours? That would be awesome if it were :)

Oh so worth the wait especially if you are a Belle fan. Loved it and waited 60 minutes during the preview they had going on in October.

It is very cute and at least worth seeing once. More than once, probably only if you have small kids.

From an adult without kids perpective, first time I saw it was at midnight during a preview, there were NO kids in the audience, adults played all the parts. That was a blast. But it's for the kids, they'll cast a couple of adults in certain parts though.

If you love Belle, it's a small space for the show, like a personal party with her. Well done.

DH and I saw it during MVCMP. It was awesome. We don't have kids and still loved it.

A photopass photog takes pics of all the participants during the show, we asked for one as were leaving and they gave us one so there's no worry about trying to snap a pic of Belle moving around.

Keep in mind that they will let everyone volunteer, so if you are an adult, don't be shy to speak up!

We did this in Sept. (during the soft-opening,) and it was cute. Basically it's a show in which some of the audience can participate. It was cute and my dd (5) liked being in the show with Belle, but it won't be a must-do for us. We only waited about 20 mins., and that's probably the most I would wait for it in the future. I'm glad we did it, but it's not something that we'll have to do every trip. It's cute and the cottage etc. is very beautiful, but it's not something I would wait very long for. My ds (10) really wasn't interested in it, and I'd assume a lot of older kids wouldn't be.
