a day trip to WDW from a cruise stopping in PC. We leave out of Baltimore and are stopping in PC and will get Uber to Epcot for the day. Will do 5pm dinner and head back to ship. Which would you book...trying to avoid same type of food you'd be getting on the ship all cruise?

Time in port is 10:30am-9:00pm

Not knowing what type of food they serve on a cruise I can't attest to the "same type" but our favorite Epcot options are Tokyo Dining and Via Napoli. Since your time is limited you may just want to snack around the world instead.

I wouldn't waste precious park time with a sit-down meal if all I had was a few hours to enjoy it. There are lots of QS....we love Katsura Grill, Yorkshire Fish & Chips and the Norway Bakery. That way, your park time isn't eaten up by waiting to be seated, length of meal, etc. JMHO.

It's a 10.5 hour port stop (10:30am to 9pm)...2 hours drive time and extra hour padding. So we'll be in Epcot for @7 hours. We go about 2-3 times a year so we don't mind giving up park time. Can only book 1 decent FP ride anyway. Really, Epcot isn't the best park to go to for 1 day but the fam (DH and 2 DDs) all picked it (I'd have picked AK). Leave ship at 11...get to Epcot at 12. Walk the WS, have some snacks and drinks. Do some FP, look at Living with the Seas, hang in the DVC lounge, walk WS some more and have 5:00 dinner (have Biergarten booked). Could even walk over to Boardwalk area though. Leave park at 7pm to arrive at ship by 8pm.

Are you leaving enough time to get to the ship? What day of the week? I am not sure an hour is enough.

Have a nice day!

Totally agree with eating/drinking around the world at the various QS restaurants. Favorites include Cava de Tequila or the new margarita outpost in Mexico, Norway bakery, QS bratwurst in Germany, shaved ice in Tokyo, everything in France.

Mmmm...DH and I love Spice Road. Fave at Epcot. But picky DDs don't like it. We have Biergarten booked but we'll see. Should just wing it.
