What do you with the PECOS BILL bar thread

I just put the toppings I want on my burger, I don't try to make anything else out of them. If I wanted a salad I'd just pay for it rather than trying to cobble it together from a pile of condiments not intended to be used in that manner.

We also like Cosmic Rays for the same reasons - all the choices of condiments for our meal - not because we can also make a side salad. I was actually quite amazed at all the people who had little condiment salads on their plates....

No reason not to, particularly if the amount of "salad" is in line with what a reasonable person would put on a burger. My DS always orders his condiments on the side with a burger, since while he wants them, he'll eat them separately. This isn't really different.

I doubt Disney is particularly perturbed by this practice or they would take steps to end it. Obviously there is a point of abuse, but I'm sure the cost of the toppings bar is built into the pricing, and it turns what would otherwise be a fairly lackluster counter service location into a big draw for a lot of people.

We get either the chicken wrap or the taco salad and split it - love that the toppings bar allows us to customize it the way we like, because me and DH like different things (no tomatoes or pickles for me!)

We split most meals at Disney, especially at EPCOT, because it allows us to sample many of the items!

I get the veggie burgers here. I just do the standards - lettuce, pickles, tomatoes if they look ripe enough (hate white on my mater!!), and some grilled onions. DH loves this place because he LOVES a ton of veggies on his burger.

All I get for my fries is the mayo/ketchup/mustard. I have never been able to understand the like for cheesy fries. Blech.

Wow - and I felt bad on Labor Day when my taco salad looked like a 4th mountain.

The only problem with Cosmic Rays is NO TACO SALAD. I guess at least I'm closer to the Dole Whip Float after I leave Pecos Bills.

I'm pretty sure I had shredded cheese when we were there a couple weeks a go. Me, I like to have pickles with my fries. Take the pickle and wrap it around the french fry. Lots of salt there for you!! Ok, I'm weird and I pretty much like dill pickles with many things.

There is also a similar toppings bar at Restaurantosaurus in Dinoland at Ak. There is a really good taco salad there. I went back on our 2nd day in AK to the same restaurant just so I could order the salad again. I've tried to replicate it since I've been home and although it was good, it's not the same.
