Yes. I would say most are cruise casual and a few will dress up in pirate attire.

I wear my fitted 'Goonies Never Say Die' tshirt with the 3-tiered ruffled skirt I made with pirate fabrics. Pirate bandana for a headband, pirate ribbons in my hair, and I'm ready to Arrrg with the best of 'em. pirate:

We went on a November Cruise and I bought Pirate Halloween costumes after Halloween when they were on clearance. My DD was almost 5. THey have girl pirate costumes pirate:. She looked adorable. It was very funny that the family that sat with us at dinner had a DD that was 5 and she had the exact same costume and we live in different states :lmao:

Whatever you wear you will have a great time:thumbsup2

We are planning on matching/custom pirate tshirts, banadanas, earrings (maybe) and cargo or long khaki shorts.....

Hope the shorts are okay for Pirate night - bringing suits/jackets/dresses for formal/semi-formal and pants/polos for the casual night....

Please tell me that will be okay..... (I am the lone packer for the 6 of us and I am already stressing about this....) I would gladly PAY someone to pack for me!!:p

Cant wait to see my DS (age 5) and DD (age 2) in the pirate costumes! Since my kids love dressing up this will be a big highlight of their trip!pirate:

I wore:http://www.qvc.com/Susan-Graver-Set-of-2-Liquid-Knit-Print-and-Solid-Dresses-Dresses-Dresses-&-Skirts-Fashion.product.A221423.html?sc=A221423-User&cm_sp=VIEWPOSITION-_-17-_-A221423&catentryImage=http://images-p.qvc.com/is/image/a/23/a221423.001?$uslarge$
In the dark teal palm dress. My dad didn't take pictures of what I wore. I paired it with braided pig tails, my thick black belt with lots of buckles, big gold toned earrings, a knit skull cap, with flip flops, and let my tattoos out. My dad wore khaki shorts, green tropical print button up shirt, flip flops, and an eye patch (which is very funny because he had a detached retina).

Cruise casual will be fine... IF you don't want to dress up as a pirate, you should be fine in normal wears.. No need for Suit, Jacket or Tea or fancy dresses.

DD dresses up and generally we have worn just either something casual that would look good when they come take pictures in the dining room with DD costume. I wore Capris and a plain T-Shirt or sometimes a Stripped shirt (Kind of pirate looking ;) ) and DH wore Long shorts or kakiks and a Plain T-Shirt or Polo shirt.

I just went on amazon last night and ordered coordinating pirate costumes for my family of 5, including me! I figure when will be the next time I can get away with a pirate costume other than Halloween, ha! (Well, maybe my next DCL cruise);)

It will be DH, me our two boys ages 7 and 5, and then our DD who will turn 2yrs on the cruise - I think I am more excited about her little pirate costume than anything, she is going to rock it!! :cool1:

I am hopeful I won't be the only mom wearing a full on women's pirate costume...my guess is there will be plenty of us, lol!

Some adults will go full pirate but most will wear cruise casual or wear a pirate themed tshirt. I've always wanted to go full pirate since I have a really nice custom pirate costume but I didn't want to fly with all that clothing for one night of dressing up. Nevertheless I do have a local Disney cruise coming up where I do not have to fly so I am debating on bringing my full pirate costume.

The waiters (dressed in pirate attire) come around and tie pirate bandanas on everyone's heads, so your little princesses may not want to wear their crowns that night. It is totally pirate themed and so fun! DS has worn his pirate halloween costume on both cruises we have been on. The last cruise I brought big gold earings that each of the adults that were with us wore, along with pirate coin necklaces and eye patches. That stuff along with the bandanas provided made us feel like pirates! ;) Some people go all out, some don't. And yes, cruise casual is fine that night if not wearing pirate attire.

DH and I usually wear khakis and pirate shirts, I always wear my pirate bandana and skull type jewelry. DD9 will wear something "pirate" also, she is a bit of a tomboy so she loves it!!pirate:

I pretend it's still Tropicalifragilisticexpialidocious night, and wear my best tropical wear. If I listen close, I can even still hear the steel pan band that would play at dinner. :goodvibes

I think the pirate costumes are fun but not worth the luggage space when you have so much to pack - on our 3 past cruises while some adults go all out in full pirate gear the majority just wore cruise casual or even dressed down a bit. It's cute to see the kids dressed up but again we are usually flying transatlantic so the most I do is bring pirate or Halloween 'skull' themed t shirts for the kids and if I happen to remember I grab a few eye patches in a party store before we go. Last year we couldn't find them in our luggage ( turned up inside shoes I never wore when we got home!) but as it happens the kids got several eye patches and pirate Knicks knacks in our FE so we were all set. I'm happy to just wear the pirate bandana you get at your table and put on the eye patch for a photo but that's it really.

Just because I enjoy being random and coloring outside the lines, I'll probably wear something more towards the Computer Pirate side of the scale, versus the swashbuckling side. Or maybe dress up like a Somali pirate....or a SEAL sniper hrmm...:rotfl2:

First cruise we just had pirate t-shirts plus pirate shorts for DS, then 4 and not into dressing up. Second cruise we bought adult pirate costumes & DS wore the whole outfit as at 5 he now likes dressing up! Will all be in pirate costumes on our 3rd cruise, DS will need a bigger one this time. They don't cost much or take up that much luggage space as we don't fetch extra shoes or anything. Even my parents (both 70+) who are cruising with us this time are thinking of dressing up!
