What do you use to carry your things around the park?

I am probably one of the only people who use a backpack...but I do. Sorry but I dont do fanny packs.

My backpack has a stiff and padded back, very padded/curved shoulder straps, and waist and sternum straps. This really helps to make it comfortable. The bag does not hang off my shoulders, it more of less rests on them. It is actually a hiking backpack. If you are going to carry one I recommend a hiking pack, they are much more comfortable for carrying long periods of time and they also wick away sweat. I don't carry much around the parks. Just my wallet, ponchos, camera, maps, tissues, and emergency medication. (I have asthma so I carry a rescue inhaler everywhere I go) Oh and of course I have my squeeze breeze fan but I make DBF carry that since he uses it more.

OK just kidding I use a sling style back pack, it carries the camera, sunscreen, water, my cell phone goes in a pocket on the strap, and it has small pockets for the tickets and Disney pins.

I use a small backpack for all of our stuff. DH and I switch off who is going to carry it.

I saw a smaller version of the sling style backpack at Dollar Tree! I am kicking myself for not picking up a few!

I have always used the dreadful Fanny Pack. I hate when straps fall off my shoulder like a purse or having a strap go across my chest. But I am going to have to do something to change but I don't know what. I definitely need something to carry my chap stick, money, camera, etc. I like the Fanny pack b/c I never have to fuss with it (unless I make it too heavy it starts to hurt my back) but it seems like no one uses them anymore.

Any suggestions or pics of things I can switch to!
I love my Disney fanny pack! But I agree . . . if I get too much inside of it or attached to it (camera bag hooked to the side), then OUCH! My back has some challenges, too! :flower:

Oh, love the pictures of your "fur baby"! :dog:

we take no kids and travel light so husband has a couple pair of cargo shorts with big pockets and i have a small envelope like cloth purse on a sholder string( $5 china, epcot) for my chapstick ect.

We use a backpack to carry everything the three of us need for the day. DH usually carries it.

I don't even think about "what other people think", who cares cause I don't know anyone and will never see them again anyway so I always use my fanny pack. It is soooo convenient and painless!

Used to use totebag and fanny pack before the bag check days now usually just my pockets. Still take the totebag for the ponchos in case it gonna rain all day or something but don't take them to the parks unless I have to.

It might look a little strange but no stranger than fanny pack around waist sometimes when it's hot and I get tired of fanny pack around the waist I carry it over my shoulder like a shoulder bag.

I use a Vera Bradley small quilted backpack (Mimi style). It holds everthing but is light and comfy. You can get them at better prices on Ebay....they can be quite expensive at boutiques and such but the one I am currently using has weathered MANY trips to WDW and loads of family travel. It also washes up nicely as they get fairly beat up in the parks :).
