We've been to Boma's twice and now want to try tusker house since it is in the park. What do you think of this place?

We absolutely loved the Tusker House Lunch Buffet!!! It was our only non-character meal, but the food was fantastic!!! Even my kids liked it! They had a lot of different "African" inspired food (our Ethiopian daughter loved the spicy stuff) and some great bite sized desserts! I think this was the best meal of our entire trip!
Being inside AK was an added bonus!

Excellent, primo stuff for a buffet. Plus the atmosphere and service are really nice!

I had a wonderful dinner there this august. My group consisted of my sister, and her triplets there was something for everyone.

I loved it!! It is definitely a must-do for my next trip. I actually liked it better than Boma. I think part of that had to do with the convenience of being in the park, though.

It is our new favorite meal in disney. We go ate least once per trip but usually twice. We actually head over in the evening just to eat at Tusker House. It's a wonderful evening because AK empties out after the parade.

Tusker House is also great for mixed groups. Last trip we had some meat and potatoes people and a couple of vegetarians. Everyone was happy.

We were just there in November for breakfast and had great interaction with the characters. They do a little dance every 45 minutes or so and Donald was the "dancer" in our room. The kids get to shake these noisemakers and dance with the character. Not to mention the food was great. Lots and lots of choices. We'll definitely be returning.

Disney just started doing the reserved seating for the 3:15 Nemo show if you have reservations at the Tusker House between 1Pm and 1:45. The dis has a link at the top of the page if you are interested.

We've been there for breakfast twice. The food is great and the character interaction is good. They do a little parade which is fun. Enjoy!

I'm very excited to hear the reviews. We'll be doing the whole lunch - reserved seating for Nemo thing in January. We loved Boma so we are hoping the experience will be similiar.

We were there In Jan. for the breakfast and really enjoyed it. I though the food was very delicious and fresh. The service was terrific, we never had to ask for re-fills or anything, our server was on the ball! The character interaction was the best of all the character breakfasts we did in the past. Plus, the jungle juice is out of this world!

We were there for dinner in October and it was great! We're big Boma fans, and this was on par with Boma, if not better! The biggest problem with it is the last seating is when park hours end - so you will often end up eating dinner in the 4-5 pm range. :sad2: The cool part, though, was walking out into an empty park! We prefer to eat dinner a lot later than that. So we're trying lunch next time!
