It was without doubt one of the best meals we had while down at WDW. We were on the meal plan so we decided to eat family style. I got the steak with the add on shrimp and the add on scallops. For some reason, those scallops just didn't get passed around.

They were cooked right the way they should be. They did not sit and get rubbery. Perfect. It was a NY strip. Delicious. They cooked it right to order to a perfect medium rare. The young one in the party with us got the kid's steak and his was done medium, just as ordered. It was superior to the kid's steak at the California Grill. Others in the party had the rigitoni with add on shrimp and the seafood stew. If you do not like spicy foods, avoid the stew. It isn't too spicy, but if you're sensitive to them it will bother you. But it was delicious. At the time, Spoodles allowed the add ons on the dining plan. WOOOHOOO!!! All were wonderful. We got two of the shrimp appetizer, mediteranean dips and a flatbread pizza. One word of warning. Do not order the flatbread Pizza for a child thinking well it's a pizza isn't it? We did. Kid ate my shrimp appetizer and I got the Pizza because he hated it. I liked it though. The portions were plentiful in everythng except the shrimp appetizer. Those were quite small but delicious. If you're paying out of pocket and need to eat on a budget, it's possible for a couple of light eaters to eat one of the appetizers other than the shrimp and one of the less expensive entrees and be satisfied. If you're looking for a nice quiet romantic dinner to whisper sweet nothings in each other's ear, stay away. If you're looking for fancy decor, stay away. It can get rather noisy as there's no carpeting to absorb the noise. But tables are far enough apart that it's not any worse than your average WDW restaurant. All in all we ranked it right up there with California Grill as one of the best places we ate down there.
I ordered Sangria and it was great as well. The others in our party ordered mixed drinks and both were really good.
When I went, the Gnocci could be had by asking for the vegetarian selection but it wasn't on the regular menu.
The chef can accomodate special needs. But as always, phone ahead.
We are returning to Disney next fall. Of the 9 places we ate, we would return to 8 of them. We really only had one counter, and one sit down we wouldn't do again. But we are only planning to return to 3 next time that we did this time. Spoodles is one of them. The other 5 we would do again, but will try other things instead this trip.
Our ADR's were at 7pm on a thursday. It was really busy. A full house. We waited about 10 minutes after arriving at about 6:55.
