I am trying to make a few changes, but so far nothing is giving....SO as of today this is our schedule :)

Beirgarten for dinner
Kona for dinner
50's Primetime for dinner
Crystal Plaza for lunch
Cape May Cafe for breakfast
Hollywood and Vine for breakfast

My understanding is a lot of people hate the 50's Primetime Diner. I would choose Mama Melrose or Brown Derby. If I couldn't get either of those I think I'd hop the boat to the EPCOT hotels area and eat there.

Of the ones you have chosen, we have only eaten at Kona and 50s Prime Time Cafe for lunch. We enjoyed both! In fact, we are planning to eat at both again on our upcoming trip in May.

Here are our reviews with pictures of each:

Kona - http://www.disboards.com/showpost.php?p=25755015&postcount=597

50s Prime Time Cafe (lunch) - http://www.disboards.com/showpost.php?p=25725382&postcount=557

Hope this helps!

So funny, Alan, as you were typing up this response, I was reading what you wrote in another thread! Very infomative, thanks :)

I actually am hoping to switch our Cape May Cafe to Le Cellier but so far am having no luck!

We absolutely loved 50's PT and rated it one of the best meals of our trip!!

I think they all look great..just checking though..you are traveling with little ones, right? I only ask because I definately wouldn't do H&V breakfast without little ones. ;)

LOL, yes we are traveling with a 4 and 2 year old, otherwise after reading the other H&V thread, I would not have chosen that one. My daughter LOVES the Little Einsteins so this is a must for us! We chose breakfast as I heard it was better than dinner at H&V

Thanks everyone.

Well then you will LOVE your breakfast there... We did it our kids were 4 & 5 and they had a blast!

We love 50's PT! We are also trying out Biergarten for the first time on our upcoming trip in Jan. The others look fine too. Have a great time!

I am trying to make a few changes, but so far nothing is giving....SO as of today this is our schedule :)

Beirgarten for dinner ...excellent choice
Kona for dinner...good choice
50's Primetime for dinner...excellent choice
Crystal Plaza for lunch...only been here for breakfast but love it then, otherwise try The Wave
Cape May Cafe for breakfast...haven't been in a long time...was really good and lots of fun, then went way down hill so haven't returned since
Hollywood and Vine for breakfast...never had breakfast here, always lunch, but we loved it

....

I think they're great. I would have said to change H&V, but if your kids are fans of the characters, then I wouldn't, just don't expect something grand ;) Just look at the smiles on your kids with the characters and you'll have a great time!

Cape May Cafe is one of my friend's favorites. We've never done it (for breakfast or dinner, she loves both) but have a large group breakfast scheduled for February. My friend used to work there and is a huge fanatic (like me!) so I trust her opinion as she's eaten at the majority of Disney restaurants.

The only one we have eaten at was the 50s prime time diner and we loved it. Our experience wasn't too exciting but the food was excellent. Simple comfort food and we found it a great change of pace from all the other restaurants we had eaten at that week. Made a nice last dinner for our trip. And if you are paying OOP, this was one of our inexpensive meals, I think it was around $50 but don't remember, love the DPP! ;)

Biergarten, kona and CP are yummy!!!

Umm I would cut H&V but I never had breakfast there just dinner.. I here the breakfast is not that bad though.

We love Biergarten, the food is great and so is the entertainment. We had a lovely meal at Kona and the little ones will love the kiddie kone for dessert! 50's PT has really good food and the theme is really fun. Crystal Palace has great food and wonderful character interaction! We love both Cape May and H & V, but have only done dinner there. We have been fortunate to have always had a great experience at all of these and plan to return.

Have a wonderful trip! :wizard:
