So you are paying for only 1 hour of ride access. Then you have til 10 to get your breakfast. No thanks. Hope no one bites on this. What a rip off.

I think it's listed as running until 10 because that's when the breakfast ends. so if you were trying to "maximize" the value of this, it seems to me you'd ride rides until the park opens and the crowds hit fantasyland, then eat breakfast around 9 or 9:30. I certainly won't be paying for it, and I hope it ends up being a bust in the April/May period listed as available right now. But we'll see.

so if the park is opening at 9 to everyone else, this is worst case scenario for anyone buying these passes. You only get 1 hour of ride access and breakfast. with 1 hour of ride access, you're only going to get on 2 or 3 times at most.

I would do it if we stayed off site for sure. Staying on site we will just make use of EMH. I know it may only be a few rides, but if you did those long wait ones a couple times (I guess depending on number of tickets sold) you could then move to btmrr and splash when the park opens with very minimal waits. Could then head to breakfast by around 930 and have the bulk of the long wait rides and breakfast by 10 am. Honestly, I'm surprised more people don't like it. I know people worry it's replacing EMH, but I think there will always be one early morning in each park, and won't worry about it until it does.

i don't think its going to replace EMH, but i think with some good time management during regular park hours, you wouldn't have to spend this kind of money. If you got a FP for 7DMT knowing it is ALWAYS a huge wait, then used your other 2-3 FP for other attractions that typically have a long wait (like peter pan, anna and elsa) you can easily get to the park at rope drop and go on a ton of rides by 10am.

I am super annoyed because Tuesday was the day we picked according to easywdw to go to MK and booked all of our ADR's (BOG lunch and Ohana dinner) 180 days ago. DH and I are going to be there at DH planning to take advantage of the shorter lines. Now, the lines will not be shorter and changing days isn't really an option because I can't change my ADR's - they aren't available for another day - I looked. We planned our days carefully. If Disney wanted to introduce these new plans, I think they should have done this before the 180 day point - before we were locked into our uber ADR plans.

I've never been this annoyed with my Disney plans before. I've never felt like they cared more about making money and less about the quality of their product as much as they do right now...

I am super relieved that it's only two days a week, actually. I was assuming based on everything else they've done to separate people from their money these past few weeks that it would be an everyday occurrence.
I just wonder if they are going to extend the evening paid event also.
I'm not sure. Thats why i'm thinking Disney is pushing the opening of MK that day back to 10am, which seems super late to me. I know they're banking on making a few hundred dollars per family but don't you think they would make more if they opened the park at 8am to everyone and had normal dining reservations?
Yes I dont know what they are thinking.

This is the same way I feel. I made sure I got a BOG reservation and Hoop Dee Doo. I know that is in the evening but still we planned on doing rope drop.

Totally agree with this! We don't even do EMH anymore, and using a great crowd calendar and good planning, we never wait more than 20 minutes in line for anything.

I now have to double check our touring plans. Yes, the park still opens at 9, but no, you probably don't want to walk into an already full Fantasyland on that day! The price for a family becomes ridiculous. (Over $300 for my family.)

Even if the whole park was open, $300.00 is a lot in addition to tickets. I could never justify this.

Same with us! EMH doesn't even factor into our plans anymore. We get fast passes for the afternoon for the longest wait time rides and then hit up everything else in the morning with a standby of usually 20 minutes or less!

As I see it, it's not that it is replacing EMH, it is taking away two other days of the week to hit rope drop on non-EMH days. Those are the best days to get good rides in. Much more limiting. It devalues a regular ticket for sure.

I hope it's a total bust, and they nix the idea before our Sept-Oct trip!

Me too!! We have a Sept trip and I don't want to worry of its going to affect us for rope drop. Because we definitely won't be paying for this!!

I thought this might be like a normal hard ticket event, but the page says that you have to have a regular park ticket too. I just don't see the advantage in this for us for this price. 1 hour 15 minutes, maybe 1 hour 30 minutes, of riding 3 rides, then a small breakfast buffet for an hour:confused3

No value for us but I can see plenty booking it. It's another PAID FP+ option that includes breakfast like Dessert Party, Fantasmic Package and the elusive RoL Dining Package. All those require a park ticket.

It will impact anyone who has BOG or others with pre-park opening ADRs in hopes of riding 7DMT before rope droppers arrive. They will no longer be able to ride until 9 as the event folks have exclusive rides until 9 am ... and by then the rope droppers will have arrived.

We are not rope droppers so I would like to think most rope droppers will avoid MK for the days of the event and Mk will be less crowded during the day so we would probably take advantage of that but the whole thing combined with everything else is greedy and very off putting to me.
