What do you really love about staying at BWV?

Of course MG, it could be you. Maybe security alerts the performers when you arrive and they all head to the VWL.;)
Ahhh.... That explains why my wife has been pretending not to know me! :teeth:

CarolMN,

Is the discount good for FRESH as well? I was just looking at that this morning and didn't see it listed.

I don't know - it might not be.

BWV is a wonderful resort. It's our favorite WDW resort. The only thing we would change at BWV, is they should have more elevators, like BCV has.

Hi Jillpie !! I hope your boys love BWV as much as my DS (15) does !! He loves beating me at air hockey at community hall! In Jan he enjoyed going to the gym with DH in the evening (something your oldest might enjoy) - but most of all he just loves wandering the boardwalk by himself and meeting other people (especially teenaged girls!;) - just like at home !) - he also loves the ESPN arcade - we had to start making him save his own $$ for that after the year he spent way too much in there !! Enjoy !:smooth:

One trip he spent some of his $$ to rent one of the 'watermice' boats from the YC dock - he loved being able to drive around the lake and back to MGM by himself!

Breakfast pastries fresh from the bakery every single morning!!!

We are BWV owners but just returned from 6 nights at OKW. Now we loved our stay at OKW, actually it was our 3rd stay, but we were at the BW on 4 different days. I love everything about it. Being between Epcot and MGM is wonderful, just the atmosphere even during the day when it is so quiet. My DH loves being able to leave me soaking in the jacuzzi (which I love) and then go down to ESPN and watch a game and have a beer. I love blueberry muffins in the AM from the BW bakery or if we really want to splurge room service breakfast. I love sitting on my balcony whether it is with a BW view, parking lot view or my favorite the canal view. It always feels the most like my "home away from home" only totally relaxing.

Ceejay, that is so interesting you mentioned OKW. We were first booked there for our first 4 days, but then I realized its time for the 7 month window and the points are almost the same at the BW! So I switched the whole ressie over to the BW. So we're really looking forward to the location (we were at the BC last trip, but never stayed at BW before). Thanks for your input!

Bjakmom, thanks for your feedback on your son, very helpful. My oldest will almost be 17 (May) by this trip, so he'll love his independence here, I'm sure. Oh, the girl watching I'm sure, lol. :p

I know I'm a little late with this response, but Amen Perdidobay. The trip back to your room after an excellent evening at Jellyrolls is reason enough to stay at the BWV!

Jillpie - Even though the BWV is our first love, we really have enjoyed our 3 stays at OKW. It is a totally different experience, however. It was just what we needed, a very quiet peaceful few days away from home.
