What Do You Prefer - Soarin or Test Track?

We are a house divided! The boys prefer TT and the girls prefer Soarin'! Both are awesome rides. We aim for FP+ for Soarin' and go straight to TT at rope drop to do both early in the day.

I prefer Soarin, but my boys love Test Track. We visited Epcot three days on our last trip, (June 2013, old FP with return times enforced). We did Soarin one time two days and twice one day and Test Track three times two days and twice the other day.

It was our first time with the new veesion of TT, and I could have dine without the car designing, but my 10- yo ds loved it.

Not even close -- Soarin'!

We no doubt got a bad taste of TT because we rode at one of the many times they have technical problems, so the pre-ride "create your car" stuff was frustrating and then cut short mid-process, as they switched to having everyone bypass that phase until they got the kink worked out. But none of us, from kid to tween to adult to let's say "especially mature adult" wanted to go on it again. Rationale: same as someone else posted earlier -- riding in a convertible at 65M for a short period of time isn't enough of a draw.

Yeah...I can see how that would ruin the experience.

For me, I guess I would never really drive super fast and so doing so in a ride (where it is safe) is tons of fun. And I loved seeing the thrill on my kids faces.

TT for me, absolutely one of my favourite rides.
Soarin is great too though!

Soarin edges out TT for me. I've ridden Soarin every time but I have skipped TT.

That being said I do really like TT.

But I'd dump them both for Spaceship Earth. ;)

I much prefer Test Track. Soarin' was OK the first few times we did it but it now has a "been there done that" feeling for me.

They are both so different, I can't pick between the two. Love them both!

No, there are two. Disneyland and Disney's California Adventure. Soarin is in the latter. There is no Test Trak there, but they DO have Radiator Springs, which is much superior, IMO.

Agreed 100%. It doesn't go as fast, but the theming of RSR is really amazing. The animatronics are incredible, the indoor portion of the ride is much better, and the outdoor environment is gorgeous.

DCA also has the California Screamin' roller coaster (launch coaster similar to Rock n' Roller Coaster, only outdoors and without any real theme), Tower of Terror, and Toy Story Mania. That's a lot more competition than Soarin' has in Epcot, for sure.
