What do you mean we’re DRIVING from CA to WDW??? With 4 kids!!!!

Grrrr... I just KNEW - FOR SURE - you had him... Little turkey...

I would tell you how I induced labor - but it's not appropriate for Disboards. ;)

Nope Skipolini's in Walnut Creek. I didn't know Mt. Mikes had one. Yep it hasn't worked yet either.

I was told by a friend that was a nurse with Kaiser that Mt Mike's Pizza was famous for putting women in labor.

I know what it is! I know what it is! :rotfl:

Soooo...... Checking in from the HOSPITAL today!!! Baby Jeffrey Aaron Jr. Arrived today at 8:18 am weighing 7 lbs 5 oz. And is 20 3/4 inches long. Both of us are doing great and should be going home tomorrow!! I will post pictures once I'm home but if your my friend on FB you can get a sneak peek now!! Thank you all for the good wishes because we did have a very fast delivery (right around 2 hours, not quite pain free through. :rotfl:) I did have a completely natural delivery with no drugs which is how I prefer to do it.

D I know what your talking about too!!! :rotfl2:

pixiedust: Congratulations on your healthy little man! pixiedust:

I found your PTR via Tammie's TR. Not quite caught up, but getting there. :thumbsup2

Soooo excited for you!!! Yay!!! I am headed to FB now to see the little guy! COngratulations!

D~

More congrats from the other side of the US - I didn't hear much screaming here on the east coast so it must have fairly easy for you - esp considering it was a natural birth, you are one tough woman:worship: Can't wait to see pics, I don't use FB so I will have to wait patiently until you and the young man arrive home. Are you celebrating with a huge candy bar? A loaf of sour dough bread? A bag of chips? Or anything else you have been so good to avoid for so long in order to have a healthy little one!

Skipolinis worked for us, and it sounds like it may have kicked in for you too.

Congratulations on your new arrival!

Thank you!! and Welcome!! I haven't updated much lately due to being busy getting ready for the little one to arrive and now that he's here the updates will be even slower.

Congratulations Sandy!!! :flower3: I'm so happy you are both doing well!

Thank you Tammie!! I couldn't be happier that he's doing so well!!

Thank you!! Pictures coming soon!!! I know part of the reason why I have prefer natural is because I've seen that needle they want to shove in your back!! I HATE NEEDLES!!! Especially how long that one is!! Luckily I have pretty short labor's so I'm not in pain for long. Now afterwards pile on the painkillers!!! :rotfl2: I did have quite a few crackers yesterday and they tasted pretty darn good!!! :rotfl: I also had a pice of chocolate cake and wow that was the best cake I've ever had!! Now I know I've actually had better but when you've stayed away from that stuff for 3 months the first one you have tastes great. We also checked my number this morning after fasting (it was a 97) and the Dr. told me that my number was fine and to not worry about checking my numbers again unless I wanted to just try to keep them in check. Also since I'm not pregnant anymore they are allowed to be a little higher than when you are pregnant.

Skipolinis worked for us, and it sounds like it may have kicked in for you too.

Congratulations on your new arrival!

Yep at first I didn't think it did but it must have!!

Thanks!!

I had some of the best nurses and couldn't have been happier with them!! My morning nurse was so great in helping get us out of there as soon as we were able!! She'd track everyone down that still needed to see us so we weren't waiting all day for them to show up. The kids are happy we're home. They did get to see him yesterday at the hospital but I told them they'd have to wait until we were home to hold him so today they got to hold him for the first time and loved it!!

We are home and doing really well. He's been a great little eater and the kids are just so excited to have us all home, but especially Baby Jeffrey.

Here's a couple pictures of the newest member of our family.

Jeffrey Aaron Jr. getting ready to come home from the hospital.

Sarah getting to hold her baby brother for the first time.

Cute pictures! How are the boys dealing with the new little brother ? I am glad that everyone is enjoying the newest addition to the family. Its just not fair though, he will get to Disney before he is even a year old, I had to wait until I was 18.............but then again, they had to build the Magic Kingdom before I could go :) :)

Love the pictures! Sweet pooh outfit and such a proud big sis!

Thanks! He is our Pooh baby. All the kids had a theme (Jeremy was trains, Sarah was Princesses, of course, and James was Mickey). I'm sure you'll get to see lot's more pooh clothes. She is very proud. She had such a great time today telling everyone about her new baby brother. They all can't wait to meet him in a couple weeks when I'm back to bringing kids to and from school. Right now my mom has been doing it for me since she's here to help me out for the next couple weeks.

Thanks! They are loving him!! Especially James (the 3 year old). He keeps wanting to hold him and saying just how cute he is. Well I guess I shouldn't tell you then so far all the kids have had their first trips before their 1st birthdays. :rolleyes1 But we may have a change in plans and once I've got more info I'll be sure to share.

Just stopping by to say hi... I know I didn't comment on your precious little one here, but rest assured - he is so cute! Congratulations again!

D~

Wow! And my hubby thought I was nuts wanting to drive from nj to WDW, lol. Al I can say is make sure to pack LOTS of stuff for your kids to do in the car. We are driving down March 28 stopping in sc and then driving the rest of the way. I have 2 kids, a 7 yr old and at the time of our trip he will be 8 months old. My 7yr old already has an iPad, Nintendo 3ds, and a leapster , but for this trip I am also getting them a portable DVD player with dual screens so The baby can watch movies too. Good luck in your adventure and I can't wait to see how it goes.

Congrats on the baby!

I started this pre trip report thinking I was going to get to read about a road trip, and now we have a baby! Well, you have a baby. :thumbsup2

I am pretty excited for this trip to happen :)

No worries. I know you've seen his precious pictures. Thanks!

We also have the DVD player so that will be going with us too. I still think my hubby is crazy for mentioning this trip but it may be changing. We'll see though. Hopefully I'll be able to do an update sometime this weekend. Been hard adjusting with the new little one. Still trying to fit in my computer time.

Congrats on the baby!

Thank you!!! It will be a road trip it just took a detour by us having a baby.

We're excited too. My oldest asked me today when do we leave for WDW again? I think he's ready for school to already be over and he's only in 1st Grade!!!

Sandra:

I have been lurking on your report and reading several threads but not posting really at all.

I just wanted to take the opportunity to say what a wonderful family you have and such a precious new addition. Congratulations!

I'm sure you don't remember but I used to post on Judy's thread and had a very rough summer - you were incredibly kind to me and said some things that I still think about and you truly helped me with my loss. Thank you! :flower3:

I'll still be lurking and reading - the trip sounds exciting I love road trips. We took several when I was younger between Indiana and Arizona but never coast to coast so I'm interested to read about the sights you see.

Have a great week! pixiedust:

Thank you! We are very happy to have baby Jeffrey here now. It took some hard times to finally get pregnant and have him but we couldn't be happier. He is a very good baby and the older kids are loving having him in our family.

I do kind of remember everything that was going on last summer. I will admit though whenever I'm pregnant I don't remember everything. I'm glad that I was able to help you and what I said has continued to do so. If you ever need to talk feel free to message me.

I love road trips but I will admit this one kind of scares me!! Mainly because of how young the kids are and the distance. I did do a coast to coast trip with my grandparent's when I was 15 and it was an amazing trip!! But we took our time getting to Florida. I think it took us 3 weeks from the time we left California to the time we arrived in Kissimmee. But we had the whole summer since my grandpa was retired. This trip we plan on driving straight through and maybe taking it a little easier on the drive home. Well see what happens though.

Hope your having a good week!
