What do you mean we’re DRIVING from CA to WDW??? With 4 kids!!!!

Just stopping by! I love the latest picture you posted of Jeffrey on FB, he is just a doll!

I hope you are doing well and everything is falling into a routine for you. :)

D~

Thank you D!! Trying to still get things into a normal routine but it's not going as easy as I hoped.

Oh goodness! It would be hard getting all 4 ready and out the door early. I am pretty overwhelmed when I an babysitting all 4 by myself here, and Faith is not a newborn. I hope you find someone to help.

It is but we manage. lol Now my neighbor will be able to bring Sarah and Jeremy on the days that they don't have his girlfriend's oldest (she's in Jeremy's class and the youngest is in Sarah's class.) So that will at least help me out 3 days a week. The other 2 days now I'm working on.

So I feel like I've abandoned this but things have been busy around here. But I did want to share that I went to my 6 week post partum appointment today and got the official results from my doctor that my numbers came back way under where they could be and I am NOT diabetic!!!! I couldn't have been happier to hear those words!! Now I just have to go every year around baby JJ's birthday to get tested because I now run a higher risk of getting diabetes. I did see the test results before today and figured they were fine but it was great hearing it from my doctor.

Thank you!! Now to get back to the gym and lose some more!! And to refocus and get back on track with the eating. I did let it go but know if I don't get it back under control all the hard work will be for nothing.

Just checking back in! How are your plans coming along?

S I've been horrible about updating here!! I do need to message you because I maybe able to work it where we see you on the way home. :cool1:

I also was able to make us dining reservations for breakfast with the Dark Side (Darth Vader!!!) and Jedi Mickey!!! I promise I'll share by the end of the weekend!!! I'm actually heading to bed very soon since I have to get up early since we are going to the opening weekend of California's Great America tomorrow!!! DH went to Costco yesterday and got our Season Passes!!! We sure do love our theme parks!!! :cool1: :rotfl2:

Sounds like a fun day planned! Have a great time! :)

Jedi Mickey breakfast sound so fun!:cool1: Where are you eating? Okay, you got me looking and I'm going to get our Sea World passes today! :yay: Jim works a half day today, so I'm thinking I'll convince him to head over there this afternoon!

It would be so great to see you! Jim also said you are welcome to stay with us. When I reminded him about your trip, he said, "What? DRIVING to Disney World from California? With 4 kids?" :lmao:

It was a great day!!! They were giving away free refillable drink containers to the first 2500 people and we got ours!!! Got free refills all morning!!!! Then we got rained out!!!! :lmao: The kids were ok at first but then it just kept coming and coming so we left. Thank goodness we have those passes and we can go back anytime we want!!!

Breakfast is with the Dark Side (Darth Vader, Stormtroopers, etc) at Sci Fi and then dinner is with Jedi Mickey, Leila Minnie, etc at Hollywood and Vine!! Jeremy is sooooo excited and can't wait now!!

Hope you made it to Sea World. We had a great day today!! But we did leave once the rain started!!

Yes we are crazy for even contemplating it but it'll be a fun adventure that hopefully the older 3 won't ever forget!!! I love that he basically said the same thing I did!!!! Thanks for the offer to stay. I'll be sure to let you know.

I'm horrible about posting but I'm still following along...glad to see you had a great time at California's Great America. We used to go to the one in Illinois all the time when I was growing up. I'm not even sure if it's still there now that I think about it.

I'm not sure I could handle those rides anymore though - my motion sickness seems to get worse as I get older.

That's one of the reasons I like Disneyland so much - I can go on rides or skip them and still feel like I had an amazing time.

Have a great week!

No worries. I've been pretty bad lately keeping up also. :rotfl2: We did have a great time and went back yesterday (we get season passes and go as often as we can.) The kids had fun once again.

But we did end up with a sick kid last night. Poor Jeremy woke up around midnight (I was only in bed about 30 mins, early for me!!) crying because he'd gotten sick in his bed. Now this wasn't fun for me because he's in the top bunk of their bunk beds so I had to wake DH up to help get him down. While I took care of Jeremy, DH took care of his bedding. Poor boy had a fever of 101.7 so once he was all cleaned up and not getting sick anymore I gave hims some motrin to help with the fever. We ended up putting him back to sleep on the floor in our bedroom so he'd be closer to the bathroom and if he needed us we were right there. Poor kid got sick again around 5:30 am so I got him in to the doctor. They think he just had a stomach bug. His fever at the doctor's office was 102.1 so they gave me some anti nausea medicine and it's seemed to work because he was finally able to eat dinner tonight of chicken noodle soup. His fever has also seemed to have gone away so we're just going to see how he does tonight before we decide if he's going to school tomorrow or not. I do also have 2 other sick kids but luckily James and Sarah's seem to just be coughing and runny noses Other than that they have no fever's and are eating fine.

I know what you mean about the motion sickness. I think they are also starting to get to me. I love Disneyland because there is so much going on that you don't always need the rides. It's nice to just take a break and enjoy the family and sights around you.

I hope Jeremy is feeling better...what a rough night for him!

I love seeing all the singing groups at DL - our next trip we will only be there one day when the Dapper Dans are performing. That day I have to make sure I catch them a couple times to last me through the other two days :thumbsup2

It was a very rough night for him. He's still doing good so I'm glad about that. But now of course I'm sick!! I don't have time to be sick!! :scared:

They are fun to watch. I also love seeing the Aladdin show. We try to see it at least twice each trip. My DH is more go, go, go so I tend to stay at the parks while he'll bring the kids back for naps and I'll catch whatever I can before I head back an hour or two later.

How cool about the Jedi Mickey breakfast!! I wish I could go but I would miss it by two weeks

Ahhhh!! I'm sorry your going to miss it. Jeremy is very excited!! Breakfast is with Darth Vader, Storm Troopers, Greedo, etc at Sci Fi and dinner is at Hollywood and Vine with Jedi Mickey and the rest of the gang. Jeremy keeps saying he doesn't want to go to WDW but then I remind him about this and then he's all for the trip again!! :rotfl2:

So as you all can guess time has gotten away from me. Baby Jeffrey is 3 months old in just a couple days!! I can't believe how fast the time is moving. Speaking in regards to how fast time flys we are approx 60 days away from our trip!!!! So here's a little bit of info about that trip. Our plan is to leave California just as soon as the kids get out of school on June 12. We're hoping to arrive in WDW on Saturday June 14!! I have added that night to our reservation so now our dates are June 14 - June 24!! How I managed to talk DH into that long of a trip I'll never figure it out!! We also now have 8 day park hoppers.

Here's our plans for now:

June 15 - DHS
Sci Fi Breakfast
Hollywood and Vine Fantasmic Dinner

June 16 - Magic Kingdom
Crystal Palace Breakfast
and either CRT or BOG for dinner (I have both booked and will be cancelling one in the next few days really hoping to get a BOG FP+ for lunch)

June 17 - Epcot
Biergarten Lunch

June 18 - Animal Kingdom
No ADR's during the day just going to go with the flow this day
HDDR dinner

June 19 - DTD
This is our break day. No ADR's here either.

June 20 - Epcot
No ADR's

June 21 - DHS
Hollywood and Vine Breakfast

June 22 - Magic Kingdom
BOG Dinner

June 23 - Haven't decided where to go yet. This will be our last park day. :(

I still need to book the Steam Trains Tour for my DH but can't figure out the best day to do it. Any ideas appreciated.

So I have to say I am so excited and can't believe that I got us a FP+ for BOG!!!!!! I have it for June 16 for now. Hoping I can change it to June 22 since that will be our 2nd day in MK and I think after having breakfast at Crystal Palace at 8 am we might still be too full for lunch but we'll see. I also got us M&G FP+ for ANNA AND ELSA!!!! My DD is soooo excited that she is going to get to meet them!! Her best friend got to meet them in DL in January so now DD has to meet them too.

We went out of town for Easter and I'll say that Baby Jeffrey did very well for his first 6+ hour car ride!! But the ride home he did have some issues about 2 hours from home. He didn't cry much but it did make me question driving. But again airfare is just too expensive for me to justify so driving it is. We'll find a way to make it work. The other 3 did just as great as they always do. We had a great time but I will say I was happy to be home by the end of it.

Hi Sandra! Wow 55 days already  Time flies. Yay for BOG FP+!!! :yay: Sounds like your test drive went well, and you will be good to go! I think its great to do a road trip - never could convince Jim. :goodvibes You can teach the kids a lot about the country you are driving through, and you will make some family memories - some good, some questionable! :rotfl2:

I can't believe that I started planning this trip back in September and now we are getting so close!!! I've been stalking the page for BOG and when it showed up I booked it!! Then had to get on my mom's computer to print it. :rotfl2: I was on my kindle when I booked it and wasn't set up to print to her printer from it. I love doing road trips. Growing up we went to Texas and Colorado a few times to see family and we'd even drive to Bend to go camping. But I still think my favorite road trip of all time is the one I did with my grandparent's 3 months on the road and drove from California all the way to Florida, up the East Coast to New York and then back across the northern states to get back home. Learned a lot about our beautiful country and made lots of great memories with my grandparent's. Yes there are going to be some amazing memories made and I'm sure some questionable one's too, like what the heck were we thinking!!! :dance3:

Haha. I have been wanting to go to WDW since 2010 (my last trip). I hope I don't miss my friends too much
