Thank you! We did have a great time!! Went my father in law's church and the kids got to play games, jump in the bounce house, and just had a lot of fun!!

The kid's look terrific, love the costumes.

Thank you! They loved all the attention they got from them.

LOVE love love your Captain Hooks face in this photo - how perfect.

I can throw a vote towards the cabins as well - have not stayed since I was little but my Mom raves about the ease of food and cooking and bed space

Love the costumes. How are you feeling?

I'm with Michelle. How are you feeling?

I like the idea of the cabins but I want this to be my vacation to and cooking on vacation just doesn't appeal to me. Heck cooking at home doesn't appeal to me but I do it.

Thank you guys for the love for my kiddos in their costumes! We have fun with Halloween and I love getting them to agree to a theme.

I am on the mend. Just more tired than I'd like but my Dr. isn't worried about it so I just try to get rest when I can. I was supposed to go to the nutritionist yesterday but when I realized I would miss the kids Halloween parade at school I rescheduled it (luckily the nurse I talked to agreed that missing the parade would be a bad thing). She also said that waiting another week wouldn't be too bad to just continue to try to eat healthier and to follow the guidelines she had already sent to me. I now go next Thursday at 10 am. Thanks for following up with me and keeping me in your guys thoughts!!

Dear Sandra, I just want to say you are doing an awesome job of taking care of your precious children, your sweet baby and yourself! It is difficult to be pulled in so many directions, yet you are handling it all and taking a bit of time for yourself as well. I am so proud of you! (I had a longer post typed up and the DIS took its nighttime nap as I tried to post.).

Ahhh Thank you my dear sweet friend!! :flower3::hug: It is hard to do so much but I've learned to have a happy mommy I have to take time for me too. thankfully James is very good when he's by himself in the mornings and I can take a nap between drop off and pick up for Sarah. I can get in a good 2 hours if I don't mess around at school after Jeremy goes in to class. I know all about that naptime the DIS takes!! We've had numerous late night conversations about it that have been interrupted because of it. :rotfl2:

So I know some of you aren't friends with me on FB so I thought I'd share this picture of James from earlier today. Jeremy finally had his play date with his friend from school and James curled up and cuddled with me on the couch while his brother and sister played with Jeremy's friend. Next thing I know I realized this had happened.

Awww... That is just the sweetest picture! I miss cuddling with the girls when they were little.

Glad the older kids had a fun playdate!

Thanks D! I love it when I can get one on one cuddle time like this. It is a rare occurrence especially for them to fall asleep!!

I was glad they were all getting along and were quiet enough so James could sleep.

Absolutely ADORABLE! :cloud9::cloud9::cloud9:

Thanks Judy!! I do love all these moments!

So I had my nutritionist appointment today and I now have an eating plan in place. It's going to be strict but I'm up for it (even if I don't want to do it) because I don't want to have to go on medication (needles :scared1:). I do have to test my sugar levels 4 times a day and will get a call once a week to report the numbers so they can decide what's going to happen next depending on what my numbers report. I will keep you updated as time moves forward. Next Dr.'s appointment is November 13. Can't wait to hear the little one's heartbeat again!! Such a magical sound!!

I am glad you have a plan. You certainly have a wonderful prize!

That is so true!! That's one thing I keep telling myself is all we want is a happy, healthy baby once this is all over and done with. If changing my eating habits is going to help ensure that then I'm all for it.

so happy to hear about your nutritionist and plans for keeping you on track. sounds like you all have it under control. I am sure you will come thru this just fine.

Oh good - I am so glad you were able to avoid needles for the time being... Hopefully your new eating plan will keep everything where it needs to be. I've been thinking of you, and hoping that this would help. :)

I had to chuckle when you mentioned no needles - my fingerstick prickers hurt more than little tiny insulin needles :) But I am glad that you can control your BS with diet changes and hopefully you will be able to do that until the new little addition arrives ;)

Thank you! Right now I'm just taking it one day at a time and making a grocery list to get things I can eat for snacks since I now have to eat 3 meals a day and 3 snacks a day.

I'm glad I'm able to also. Going to take it one day at a time right now which is all I can do. Thanks!

So am I! Now to stay on it. :rotfl2: Yes it will! But I'm not wishing this weekend away since the kids have a 3 day weekend and I'm going to enjoy relaxing for most of it.

Don't get me wrong I hate the fingerstick too!! But the good thing with that is it's very quick (and yes it does hurt). My biggest issue with needles is having to insert them and then put in whatever I need to do. It's not that it hurts just that it's in there for a whole lot longer than a quick stick. I've always hated needles even as a kid. When I had to get shots to enter Kindergarten my mom said I ran out of the room when the nurse turned her back to get them ready. :rotfl2: So it's been a life long aversion. Thank you! I'm also glad that it looks like diet is going to be able to keep it under control.
