What do you do with your eggnog?

So, what do you think of your Munroe egg nog?
I warm mine up with some cinnamon, nutmeg, and a shot of amaretto. I also drink it straight, put it in coffee, put it in cocoa, make cookies, and french toast.

I pretty much like all the monroe dairy stuff..It's all good..I'm going to get the Tiramisu for Thanksgiving

I haven't tried the Tiramisu yet, but the cheesecake brownies make excellent sundaes :thumbsup2

I could live on the stuff. I could kill a half gallon on my own in a day, no problem. Add some JD Single Barrel, YUMMY! Also, egg nog french toast is incredible.

Mmmmm...Nog!
:goodvibes

Have done french toast, but not oatmeal.
Straight up or with a shot of something strong and full o' heat:drinking1
Tasty :thumbsup2

For the ultra 'nog enthusiast, Philosophy makes a truly divine 'Nog shower gel.

I love eggnog and will have to try it in my coffee as I never thought doing this. Thx for all the creative ideas how to cook with it....sounds very tasty! Around our place it's traditional for family to have eggnog and sing carols while decorating the Christmas tree. :goodvibes

I make a baked french toast. I use day old challah bread , pour the eggnog on top, add some cinnamon and nutmeg, and bake for about 30 minutes. I also use it to make muffins :)

I beat more eggs into it and make baked custard. I love the taste, but it's too thick for me to drink.

The idea of putting eggnog in oatmeal sounds really really yummy. :thumbsup2

That DOES sound good, as well as the French Toast. Thanks for the ideas!

All I ever do is drink it, and use it as coffee creamer.

Love eggnog.

DH uses it as coffee creamer. Time for me to get to the liquor store to get that great, already juiced up, egg nog.

I don't really care much for egg nog, so the only time I drink it is on Thanksgiving morning while watching the Thanksgiving Day parade with my family. :goodvibes It was easy when I still lived at home, but now I have to make a special trip over to their house on that morning for our tradition. :goodvibes

I wouldn't have it any other way though. :thumbsup2

(my dad sometimes puts a little somethin' somethin' in the egg nog for me :rolleyes1 )

For all eggnog drinkers. Last month our store started carrying pumpkin nog, yum-o.

I love egg nog!!

Never thought about using it as a coffee creamer or for French toast - great ideas though!

I love egg nog. Sometimes I'll add a little rum, sometimes I'll drink it straight up!

We love egg-nog (tried pumpkin nog for the first time last Christmas-interesting and yet another excuse to consume nutmeg).

We do the coffee and french toast thing also w/eggnog. One difference on the french toast, we use italian Pannetone Cake to make the french toast. Oh, it is soooo good!

I will look into this Challah bread.

Looking at above, it is funny that I still call it french toast, given the use of jewish or italian bread & nog itself appears to have come from England..... :lmao:

Maybe I should call it what the brits call it: Eggy Bread.
