I got my first 2 bottles of eggnog yesterday, delivered from Munroe Dairy.
It makes a great coffee creamer...It also makes great french toast..Yummy...Of course we drink it too,but there are lots of things you can do with eggnog

Our traditional Christmas Morning breakfast is Egg Nog French Toast. :) yummmmm!

Coffee cream
in my oatmeal
mixed with Jack Daniels
straight up
but always warm

I just drink it - as fast as I can.. I love eggnog..:thumbsup2

I also have several recipes that call for eggnog and if I remember correctly, one of them is a cake - but I much prefer to have my eggnog "straight up"..;)

I usually just drink it. I never used it to make anything with but it sounds like a good idea.

Would you mind posting your recipe, please.?

I don't really have an official one..The best way to do this is to slice challah..You can find challah at most grocery store bakeries... I coat the challah with eggnog with a bit of added cinnomon and cook just like any other french toast. If you can't get challah, any bread will do

That sounds really good!!!! I have a yummy challah recipe I've used in the past that I could try it with over the holidays.

Normally I don't like french toast at all (too eggy tasting) but this sounds like something I'd enjoy!

If any ever came into my house (never happened yet) I would pour it down the drain! :lmao:

Can't stand the stuff.:scared: :crazy2:

Captain Morgan's Spiced Rum, cinnamon on top.....YUM!!! :cloud9:

Love it!

I also drink it. Haven't thought of coffee creamer, but I will certainly try it this year. Publix egg nog is the bestest. :)

I'm with CJ on this one. YUCK YUCK YUCK!

Joe loves it. But it makes the little hairs stand up on the back of my neck. Yuck.

ooooh. I'm going to have to try egg nog french toast. Usually I eithe put it in coffee or dilute it with milk and drink it. I can't recall doing anything else with it.

So, what do you think of your Munroe egg nog?
I warm mine up with some cinnamon, nutmeg, and a shot of amaretto. I also drink it straight, put it in coffee, put it in cocoa, make cookies, and french toast.

Call me kooky, but I love Silk Nog, the soy milk version of it.

We're patiently waiting. TG Lee makes Eggnog that's colored with dye. That's been in the store for two weeks now. As soon as Publix puts their out, we'll get it.

My kids can't get enough of the stuff. We also use it in coffee and french toast. Last year, I added some to a cake batter and brownies. Yum. I almost used it to mash sweet potato last year, but got talked out of it. Next time, I won't even ask.

I think I better go get a bottle of Southern Comfort. That's our favorite alcohol in it, but that Amaretto sounds good, too.

If you've got steak and shake near you, they make yummy eggnog shakes this time of year. Yummy. I don't cave in to shakes very often anymore, but I'll get that one.
