What Do You Do With a Nine Pound Lemon?? LINK TO NEW TR!

Wow!!!! That is nuts! I can't believe they weren't better prepared! Well as I said before, I am using this info to plan for the 50th :goodvibes So now I know, find a comfy spot and stay there, and bring snacks!

I love the picture of Gary and Erin (and Conner) waving goodbye to the castle! That's a cute idea!

Wowzza! That was quit the night you had. I couldn't have even imagined that many people. So glad you were able to keep it a positive and have a great time.

And I have to say, I love that last photopass photo you posted of your brother and sister-in-law waving good bye to the castle. That is just a great one.

Can't wait to see what you and Tom did over in EPCOT on your next day. I love being at EPCOT with just the hubby. It is so much fun to snack and drink around the world together!

Wow, that night was insane for you guys! :scared1: I can't believe you couldn't move for 2 hours! I can't believe someone threw their stroller into the bushes! I had no idea the park closed at one point that day! I'm kind of glad I didn't know at the time because I would have been in a panic that night about getting in!

I'm glad you made it over to Tom easily enough, and that you got to go on some rides! That's so funny that you thought it was cold that night, I think I was happy that it cooled off a little from how hot it was during the day! :thumbsup2

Wait until you see our experience at the fireworks. It was nothing like yours! :scared1:

Yes I feel the same way about being glad not knowing the park closed at some point. I would have FREAKED! Haha, yes, I'm always cold! I didn't like it! I can't WAIT to read about your experience.

They were SO unprepared, it was ridiculous. The morning too with the exclusive merch. Disney should know their hardcore fans better than that!

That was a great idea for a photopass pic, wasn't it? Such a cute end!

We had a fantastic final day in Epcot! Update coming soon!

Oh. My. Gosh. Those crowds?! Crazy!!! And that father that launched the empty stroller into the bushes?!?!?!? Wow did that paint a picture in my head of just how bad the crowds must have been! Cannot wait to hear about Day 4 at Epcot!!! :cloud9:

Just got back from my week long Disneymoon and had to tell you that I had a no sleep, anxiety filled night as well! It was last Saturday (the night before our Disney wedding!) and I was seriously up all night. It was terrible! My now husband was staying in a villa with his fam and I was in one with mine - I ended up calling him at 4:00 am crying hysterically because I couldn't sleep! It was a complete nightmare! The next day I kept trying to take naps before the ceremony, but it just never happened. Fortunately, my brother gave me half an anxiety pill and my adrenaline kicked in and I was fine for all the wedding festivities AND EMH at the MK following the wedding!

Yeah, it was insane!! So crazy! The 4th day was wonderful!

Oh that's awful!! Totally understandable that you had anxiety the night before your wedding though! Glad your brother was there with the drugs! Hahaha!! Did you do a report? I've got to hear about this wedding!

What a crazy day! I think I would've done what you did and just sit back...walking in that is just crazy. It had to clear out at some point right? I am glad yo ugot a few rides in though.

Craziness! Love that you have a big smile though in all your photos. And I really like the photopass of you and Tom in front of a blue castle - so pretty!

I ended up buying the same style Vera bag you have in 'happy snails'. I had no idea how light these bags were! I wish I had bought one sooner. I will have to book some Disney trips just to use it :) But my DH says it looks like an old lady bag :rotfl: My DD LOVES it and wants one of her own. So DH is clearly wrong!

It was so crazy! Yeah, we did get a couple rides in that night. I actually made a list today of all the rides we got to on this trip.....it wasn't very many!

Haha, yeah I LOVE to smile/pose for pictures! I actually yelled at my wedding photographer because she wanted me to do all these dramatic, serious STUPID poses and I kept telling her I just want to SMILE and stand next to my family...I don't want my mother to put her arms around me and hold me like when I was a baby. She seriously said that and that was the straw that broke the camel's back!

Oh I should have told you! Those hipsters were on sale for $29 on Monday...half off!! I actually bought myself another one, although I really DON'T need it! It was just too good of a deal!

WOW...I'm shocked to hear about how bad the crowds were! The only time I've witnessed (and been a part of) crowds that bad was on NYE. Hope day four goes a little bit better! :goodvibes

Some wedding photographers are just nutty. My friend got married to a gal in the Ukraine (she's over here now) and the poses they put them in were like soft core porn. NO joking - even the mothers and grandmothers. It seems they think these are 'classy'. :scared1:

OH, I've been keeping an eye on the Vera sight because my daughter wants one but I didn't see the $29 hipster sale! It would be slightly larger for her (she's 7) but that is a deal! It's probably a good thing I didn't see that deal

It was seriously like nothing I'd ever seen in my life!

Hahah! That's so funny about the wedding pics in the Ukraine! At least she wasn't making us do THAT!

Hey guys! Just wanted to post and stay I'm still here! I'd like to say I've been super busy and that's why I'm haven't updated lately but that's just not true! I'm not sure why I haven't updated but I think it's because I know there's only one day left and it's not nearly as busy as the other three days so I probably only have one more update left. :( So stay tuned! The final update(s) will be coming soon!!

Geez Louise that is just insane. I read about what it was like that day, can't believe you all braved it, but good for you :)

Yay for getting your tee, everything went so quickly, must have been like Black Friday for cupcakes and maps

Shame you didn't like Tony's, although I have to agree and say it is a horrible restaurant. We ate there for DH's birthday and it was abysmal and the service was awful. Is a shame considering we ate there for the first time in 2007 and loved, but then we were newbies and didn't know any better I guess :teeth:

But all in all sounds like you had a fantastic and very long day, loving all the photos too :)

I would like to submit my name in the running for "most late to the party".... how the heck did I miss you TR? Ugh.... all caught up now, thanks for making my morning!:goodvibes

I knew I had this picture but just didn't see it when I was talking about how excited everyone would get when they passed the F&W booth that just said, "CHEESE." Seriously, just stand in that area and every few minutes someone would come around the corner and see the stand and shout, "CHEESE!"

See? Erin was excited about it too!

100_0008.jpg

We were there a few weeks before F&W and every time they passed it, Mike would say "I really hope we can travel to the Country of Cheese sometime, sounds like a really fun place!"

We kept ourselves entertained two ways. One was to watch the people who were trick-or-treating by the Splash Mountain queue. We especially liked the group that went as a Brazilian Tour Group!! From someone who usually goes to WDW in the summer, we found this hilarious!
(Sorry, this was the best picture I could get.)

DSC_0341.jpg

That is a priceless "costume" choice! :lmao:

We ordered first the garlic bread, which was very good.

And that was the ONLY good thing about this entire experience! The rest of the food was AWFUL!

Honestly, it was like cafeteria Italian food. Maybe because I come from the land of Italian restaurants, but I would NOT recommend this place to anyone looking for a good Italian meal.

I'm so glad you posted this review, it's always been my fear to eat there because I am used to a LOT of really good Italian food. Glad we didn't make that ADR now!:thumbsup2

Sorry you were so exhausted, I cannot imagine how you had all that energy to even make it to lunch! (Let's be honest though, I wouldn't have made it through the 5k either!)

I'm so glad I wasn't alone. He kept on telling me to "act natural" until I explained to him that being a goof WAS natural for me!

When he finally relented we got one of my favorite wedding photos ever, my dad and I standing in front of the Tidal Basin and Jefferson Memorial, with my husband and FIL smiling off to the side, while my dad gave me "bunny ears."

Looks like you packed in a TON of stuff on your trip.... looking forward to reading the rest!:thumbsup2

At Magic Kingdom via behind Cinderellas' Castle:

Is is still 'under construction"??

Q: How were the changes to Haunted Mansion??
Q: Any other changes??

reason for the Goofy Question is that I will be up in the HS / MK area on Jan 5th (my pre-day b 4 I head off to my DCL cruisepopcorn::) and this has me curious.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!:goodvibes

Better late than never!!!!

Yes definitely skip Tony's! I barely made it through lunch, between it just being awful and me being DEAD tired! I've never felt that tired in my entire life. So funny about your pictures too! I hated doing all those stupid poses! "Look down at your flowers." Ya know what? I actually don't like flowers and you would never see me looking down at flowers ever so stop trying to make me look like a "bride" I just want to look like ME!

I know what you mean, that last day is always hard to finish! Take your time, we will wait patiently. :goodvibes

Soon, soon!

Haunted Mansion changes were mostly in the queue and at the end with the hitchhiking ghosts. They are now animated!

Just checking in!hope e eything is going well with you. Your next trip is getting close! Are you all planned out?

Yes, I'm good! Just procrastinating! The trip is SO close now...under 50 days! We are VERY planned out, except for the loop Continental threw me yesterday when I checked my flights and they were both changed. Now we get in at 10:30am instead of 9am! Not happy about that!

Yes, indeed, your next trip is getting close :rolleyes1

Mmmm hmmmm! VERY close! May be making some last minute changed in the schedule for Day 1! ;)
