Hello
My husband tells me all the time that all I think about is Disney. I guess he is right...but I love all things disney and there could be way worse things to do than obsess about disney..
I have to say I do my fair share of obsessing about my Disney vacations. (And all vacations and major purchases, for that matter). I think good planning pays off, and it gets me excited for the trip.
That said, I have seen some CRAZY obsessing on this board...like the poster who was going to pack her own bedspreads from home because she didn't like the ones at POR.
I mean, there's obsessing, and then there's obsessing.
Sure, it's a happy bunch, no purple kool-aid here.
My friend and I obsess because every time you turn on the t.v., radio, read the newspaper, whatever, it's nonstop tragedy and disaster, and while it's part of modern day life, Disney is the only real, total escape from the ongoing madness around us.

You must have my husbands twin!!! He says that all the time to me. He went to work this morning, my kids are at school, and he told me I am going to surf my DIS boards all day. Could he be right???
There are worse obsessions. She could be out buying Disney things on ebay every day instead of just surfing the boards. You should be happy she keeps such a close watch to save you all that money when you go to Disney.
To each his/her own, as the saying goes. I love all things Disney and love to research and plan my trips. My husband could spend four days a week playing golf and the other three watching other people play golf on tv. I NEVER watch people on tv at Disney World.
If you think you are obsessive about DIS, try playing in one of the WPASADI contests that DIS runs. Our team started in Nov and almost made it to the finals in Feb. We were working on Disney related projects almost every night for months on end.
