most times when we go in the rainy season its late afternoon,so we usaly have our shower and get ready for the evenings then the storm has pased.Florida the only place you get the same storm each day at the same time this is because the warm air from the gulf hits the cold air from the atlantic and guess where the centre is.Yep you guesd it its WDW florida.We dont let the rain spoil our day we use it as i said to benifit us as when we go out in the evening refresed and dry the storms have usaly pased by then.So then its on with the show.On the water ride isue we would do a full day getting soaked or have a change of clothing in boot of car

I LOVE the stares you get from people sheltering if you're wandering about in the rain without a poncho or anything waterproof

and yes i agree with the whole why wear waterproofs on rides that you can get wet on?! what's the point?

We had some pretty spectacular storms when we were in Epcot a couple of years ago.

The ponchos were just too uncomfortable and sticky to wear so we just got very wet

DD (then 5) absolutely loved the storms and was dancing around in the rain - we, too, got some very strange looks from people sheltering

We don't often get rain when we go, but last May we had one downpour. We prefer to stay out then as it gets sooooo cold going into the AC afterwards. It depends where we are though.

It's a great time to do the wet rides and I'm definitely a fan of the singing in the rain bit!!
