I have 5 months to go! and all ready wayyyy to excited.

I have made a 20 day count down calender, a 20 day paper chain link countdown, a trip book, planned ahead, and now can't think of what else to do!!

help!:scared1:

I look at pictures on DIS, The Podcast helps a lot too. They cover a lot of topics and listening to people talk about it makes me feel like I am there.

It also helps to pass time if you have a friend or coworker that needs help planning their trip.

write your packing list - group clothing according to outfits

try on outfits to make sure everything fits / matches

attempt to fit everything in suitcase

re-write packing list to exclude stuff that wont fit in suitcase :rotfl:
(or purchase bigger suitcase!)

try to find better deals on hotel / rental car / flight

purchase "minis" for travel (toothpaste, deodorant, shampoo, etc.)

change computer wallpaper daily to something that reminds you of your trip

get Disney wallpaper / background for your cell phone (I had a few for before I went and a different one for each day of the trip!)

Disney ringtones for your cell phone! (well, that may not work - all my ringtones are Disney all the time!)

are you taking a cooler or shipping / bringing food? I purchased non-perishables about a month before I left (Nemo gummies were on sale!)

have a great trip!!!:wizard::wizard:

check the DIS boards, start packing, read trip reports from others

I am right there with you! It feels like it will take FOREVER for my trip to get here! My DH thinks I am insane already. He doesn't even know that I have already packed all of my Disney shirts, all my kids' Disney shirts, made multiple packing list, started my Disney box (like a month ago!), already have toys to keep my kids entertained on the plane, have made multiple car reservations and still check almost daily for better deals, and have printed out maps of the area that include restaurants and stores we will want to go to.

I am so addicted to this board. Just when I think I have learned everything there is to know, something new pops up.

I'm so glad to know you feel my pain LOL :rotfl:

Oh, and I am almost at the 30 days countdown...
I already purshased a bigger green suitcase. I want to 'Disney decor it' ;) and travel sized toiletries bottles. And a foldable drawer hanger to use at POR bathroom area.
And I Dis every single day. I read TR and Dining Reports. I even began my very PTR but I am not a such gifted writer as some of the people around here. I must say I've laughed a lot reading some threads! And this forum is really what makes me pass the time 'in WDW mood':woohoo: till I get there!
See u around!

on top of that I watch as many disney films as I can and I have a wii so I play as many games of disney and I was dreading the count and now im 63 days away!!! and to believe I started the countdown at 180 !!!! but that is what I do to keep busy to make it go by faster :)
hope you time goes by fast!!! and have a good trip

Here are some of the things I do to make the time go past.

Watch Disney movies on DVD.
Keep checking itinerary until I have gotten ADR's then I pretty much leave it alone.
Check the Disney calendar for changes.
Visit Disboards and other Disney sites.
Plan and prepare room decorations. Then pack them.
Make Mousekeeping and ADR tip envelopes. Then fill them with cash. Then pack them. (I research the costs of ADR meals to make a good estimate of the probable tip.
Make my own autograph book.
Look for sales of items needed to purchase.
Purchase travel size toiletries.
Plan wardrobe and make sure all is in good repair and comfy fit.
Purchase new walking shoes a couple months before leaving, get them "broke in" to the point of comfort then pack them for the trip. New shoes not a good idea, chance of blisters for me.
Make my packing list.
Check and double check camera and camera stuff, then pack.
Pack and repack as I want to be sure I did not forget anything even tho I have a list and it is checked off.
Keep checking the weather channel/site for not only forcast for Disney, but all of I-75.
Double check all reservations, car rental, hotel etc.
Try, just try to get a good nite sleep before heading out.
Do a Happy Dance as I tick the days off the calendar, big Happy Dance the wake up and travel day.:dance3:

Welcome! Others have said this, and I completely forgot, but I do watch Disney DVDs too ~ really fun to have on in the background while you are packing!
