What do you consider the best hotel for adults?

We're always on the go. We don't spend very much time at the hotel. So far, we've been happy to stay at the POFQ twice. Beautiful grounds and it's been quiet during both our stays.

We stayed at the Boardwalk Inn & found it to be very adult-friendly. We love the GF, but there tend to be a LOT more kids running around there, barefoot (gasp! sacrilege!) through the beautiful lobby

okay you realize that if these kids are staying in that building (main) their only way to the swimming pool is through the lobby....

don't blame little one for their parents decisions....

I'm not bothered by it or blaming anyone, kids or parents; was just saying that, b/c it's such a juxtaposition to see the barefoot swimming-gear-wearing kids running through this grandiose lobby. I mentioned it b/c the OP had asked about adult-oriented hotels. In our experience, a LOT of families take their kids to the GF; we experienced a more adult atmosphere at the BWI.

It really depends on your preferences, plans and budget! I love the deluxe resorts, but when traveling solo I tend to spend a lot of time in the parks and never use the amenities! I have become a Pop Century convert for those types of visits!

CSR has a lovely, spread-out atmosphere and is relatively quiet, as it is a convention property. They have a terrific children's area, but it's away from most of the buildings. And moderates now have a refrigerator, as well as a coffee maker.

Both properties are relatively central to all of the parks.

Beyond that, select your favourite park(s), decide what you want to do (heavy-duty parks, relaxing days at the resort?), determine your budget and go from there!
