im thinking dinner. but im not sure about walking into a restuarant in a big wedding dress and just getting a table and having dinner. seems kinda of odd with other people around. Any ideas?

I'm kind of shy about that kind of thing too. How about having a private room, or corner set up for your dining?

If you tell the restaurant ahead of time that you are going there right after your vow renewal, I'm possitive that they would go out of their way to make it special for you. After all, it's Disney right? :goodvibes They really do want you to be happy with your day. And It can't hurt to ask them about it. :)

I thought of in-room dinning but i hate to go get married then just go back to our room. But im sure ur right if we make reservations they would probally accomodate us. ok any other ideas of what to do after dinner. I would like to make a night of it. Another ? if u cant wear ur dress into the parks then how do some of the posters have pictures in the park with the fireworks going off behind them?

It's pricey but what about Victoria and Alberts... men are required to wear jackets so you will be most comfortable here of all restuarants.. you can also book their chefs table and then you will be in the back in a private room with just the two of you.. I am sure you will get even more special attention from the chefs and staff because it is your wedding night!! If you need more info on the chefs table just ask and I'll be happy to answer any questions you may have.

Because some brides have private Illuminations dessert parties in EPcot. It is correct that you may not wear your dress in the parks. They have a host and they arrive back stage and are escorted to their party and they are then escorted back out.

Also the Grand Floridian does private dining at locations around the resort and then a "semi-private" viewing of wishes. The cost is around $200.00 or so depending on what you chose to have on the menu and includes a butler!!

The amount of knowledge on these posts is incredible. We're attending a wedding in September and that's exactly what happens. the reception is in the little island near France. Whoever suggested Victoria and Alberts is on the right track! Good luck.

Victoria & Alberts sounds great except i like the idea of the watching the wishes. we were there in may and i found it to be soooo romantic. i love the music. it just seems very magical. if we choose the gf u said a semi-private viewing of wishes. is this an outdoor viewing or indoor. it would be great if it were outside.

For our intimate wedding, it was just the two of us. We had dinner at California Grill. They seated us at a window seat so we could watch Wishes. It was very nice (even if we didn't care for the food).

Now, our wedding clothes were very casual (DH wore dress pants and a linen shirt, I wore a simple white cotton dress) so we didn't feel out of place or anything.

If you want to wear your wedding dress to dinner (and I don't blame you) I would definitely consider Victoria and Alberts, or ask your coordinator about other private dining options!!!

It's outdoors. There are a few places that they can have your dinner. By the Marina is one except a lot of people gather there so they can pick more private locations that still have an excellent view of Wishes.

ok, OMG im even more excited now than i was before. I was just like ok what r we gonna do go get married and then go to our room. that seems kind of boring but after a nice dinner and watching wishes that seems more like making a night of it. Thank you guys so much!!!! I just ran it by my hubby and he thought it sounded great too!

Here is the contact info for the private dining events. I wouldn't mention anything about the wedding because then they may want you to go through DIsney fairytale weddings... I would just say dinner for the two of you!!

thanks, and thanks for the heads up on not mentioning it. but do they need to know that i will still be in my wedding dress. i havent picked the site yet but i know it will not be WP, but i plan to have pictures at the GF so we can finish pictures there and then go to dinner.

I wouldn't mention the dress thing either... the thing is that then they think that you are trying to have some sort of "reception" but this is not your case... you are just having dinner..... like I said if you even mention wedding they will head for the hills running and refer you to Disney weddings.
