Today I'm cooking frozen pizzas for dinner, saving about $25.
I have my pot of water, orange peel, cinnamon and nutmeg on the stove. Besides adding humidity it helps me have a healthy snack in the morning so I have the orange peel to put in it.
I spent almost all day shopping around for mattresses. I finally went with Sears because they will deliver and haul away our old ones and I spent $18 under the $600 I had budgeted for them. I almost bought ones that were $50more apiece, but when I compared their specifics side by side the cheaper ones were actually a little nicer for what I wanted. I also bought them online through SR, it's only 1%, but better than nothing.
Dh called last night and asked me to start pricing batteries for his laptop to take to Iraq and suggested
that we buy a new laptop
. We don't NEED a new laptop not to mention a new laptop full of sand so I vetoed that suggestion.
I haven't been doing so great drinking water instead of soda, I kind of fell off that wagon, sick kids have been waking me up during the night so I need my caffeine boost during the day, but my throat is scratchy now so I've got my trusty bottled water back on the desk.
On the grocerygame subject, I haven't started for the same reason as someone else mentioned, we don't have double coupons around here so I don't think I would see a significant savings.
