Jollywood Nights First Timer

We got the reservations at 6:15 am CT this morning for November 8th. November 15th is also open so rest must be coming when they hit 60 days.

Just chiming in to say our family of four attended last year and LOVED it! We brought a stocking and had all the characters signed. We dressed up just a bit, I wore a sequined skirt and a shirt with Santa in Mickey ears. So many good good ops with and without characters. Lots of great snack options (for a fee). The dance party is super cute, we really enjoyed the Muppets show! Wait time on ride are next to nothing, as most people aren’t there for rides, but if that’s your thing, go for it!

One bit of advice, if you want merch go immediately! By the time we got there last year almost everything was sold out. Also, they let you in early and you can catch Fantasmic before the party starts. It’s impossible to see and do exerting, so have a plan in place before you go. Have an amazing time, we loved the vibe. I would def do it again.

I second the advice about merchandise. We tried to get in the merchandise store just to look at merchandise, but the line was so long that we didn’t even try.

Yeah, there was a request from someone here on the DIS for the special Jollywood pin that was sold out when they went, I headed straight to the shop line and was in and out of there fairly quickly, snagged the pin and a couple of things for myself.

I went solo and had a great time. The longest line I was in was to meet Mickey & Minnie, but it was fun. Definitely took advantage of the included photos, got the Muppet magic shot on the street that goes to the ToT, enjoyed the music in the ToT courtyard, and the shows. Very festive night. It was cold on Dec 11, I have a fleece and shell/rain jacket on!

I know "worth it" is situation-dependent, but it'll be $180 with tax, per person. Is this money well-spent? I've read some negative things. I'm hoping it's fun and exciting, not that I'm going to walk away shaking my head.
Worth it definitely depends. I made a 3 night trip to DW just to do 1) Epcot one day for holiday stuff, 2) MVMCP one evening, and 3) Jollywood. The only day ticket I bought was for Epcot, on the other 2 mornings/early afternoons I toured resorts, ate at the Cake Bake Shop, enjoyed the holiday vibe. It was a great trip.
