Oatmeal raisin cookies and donuts!


So I do the can ones because every recipe I have ever tried ends up with sort of vaguely buttery paste like bricks and I'm not sure if I'm just unlucky or if this is what a good biscuit is supposed to be. I am open to a tried and true recipe.I made biscuits for breakfast this morning.
I had someone once ask me why I made biscuits from scratch and didn't just use the ones in the can. My answer - those aren't biscuits.

It's called a Pnut butter, butterscotch bar. It's made without flour!!! Old fashioned oats and quick oats are used.
Honestly, it is the Best bar I've ever had. It is a big hit with everyone who eats it. Yum......................

Doh...so close! A friend gave me some of her lovingly-grown zucchini that my family will simply never eat. I can't stand to waste them so I found a great-looking recipe for zucchini coffee cake that I'm going to batch up and give to several people. It will have to be tomorrow now though since I went to the store, got distracted and failed to bring home two specific ingredients I need for the cakes.
