I don't know much about the state of New York so I would be no help there--looks like Syracuse is the only thing close that I recognize. But--It is a local call for me, I will call tommorow and see about dealers in Ontario or close...Always willing to help a neighbor! My brother lives in Calgary so I know how the phone bills can be between our countries--Look tommorow for info on Canada!!

I saw these last summer while in Aspen and thought man are they ugly and cheap looking. Then I came home and read on these boards about them and I wanted to kick myself for not at least trying them on. Then this thread pops up again, and they seem even more popular! So Im going to check them out after my ultrasound this morning. I dont know what Im more excited about-them or the ultrasound!

With all the posts I had to order a pair LOL. I am always on the look out for comfy shoes. I ordered the Khaki Beach Crocs. They are odd looking & I have never seen them around here. But I trust all of you! I can't wait til they get here.

Wondering where you found your crocs in the Frisco area?

I found my pair at the SE corner of Beltline and Preston. I was out and about that day so it worked out great. It is right near the Ballys and Planet Tan. The lady I bought them from is Sheila. Her phone number is 469-231-4593.

If you buy 10 pairs from her, your 11th pair is free! She is getting more in in a couple of weeks, too. I purchased the Beach (pearl colored).

Well, I broke down and ordered a pair of the Nile style. I can't wait to get them!

My fear with these is that they appear to be plastic or rubber? That kind of material usually makes my feet sweat and if they are loose, my feet will sweat and move around. I'm afraid I'll get blisters.

Also, it seems confusing on whether you should wear them with or without socks. I wish I had a dealer close by to try them on. But most of the dealers are in Boston or down the Cape.

Actually from what I was told, the shoes with the holes in them are less likely to cause your feet to get too hot. The lady I purchased mine from told me that her closed Crocks get pretty hot, compared to those with the aerated holes. Also, the shoes are made with a special type of material that looks like plastic/rubber, but actually are made of something that is acceptable in operating rooms.

Well, I just got the email from Crocs that due to high demand, my Crocs won't be coming...Will you all please stop ordering them!!! I could go to either Bob's Store or Filene's to get some but they don't have any of the nifty colors. I ordered the Khaki ones yesterday and today find out they are backordered.

I ordered today black beach crocs from Zappos. No problem. They had free standard shipping so I choose that option and wait 4-5 days rather than pay $25. I can be patient sometimes. I immediately recveived a confirmation e-mail and then... about 1 minute later received a second e-mail stating that just because they were glad I was a customer (it was my 1st time ordering) they upgraded my shipping to overnight and I should receive my shoes tomorrow. I have never been upgraded at WDW but this will do just fine. I am really not that patient. Cant wait to try them.

How funny is that!! I guess posting this means that we are in the midst of croc mania--well, I know there are still people who won't wear them because they look funny...at 41, I got over that a long time ago--Don't get me wrong I still want to look good...but at WDW I ate and ate and ate some more (how many Micky Bars ,I lost track) and I lost 6 pounds by the time I got home--Now that is some serious walking!!! I am not saying from time to time they were sore (my feet) but being a bit sore and not being able to walk at all are two different things.
Besides, people always look funny here in Boulder it's nothing new!!
Come to Colorado--we have a great supply. Oh, wait...stay away will you!!

I got my crocs today and they feel awsome on my feet. By looking at the internet you would think they are made of plastic material but they are made of some foamy material. Can't wait to try them in April when our WDW trip comes around.

Just got mine and put them on. They feel great. I am not sure on walking. Sorta feel loose under my arch. Is that normal? Also just got diagnosed with Plantar fac...)Spelling?) Going to WDW in 6 days so I am very concerned over my walking ability. I will try them out. Thanks.

Attention Dillard's shoppers!

They have Crocs! I tried on a pair today. The sizes are a little tricky. I wear between a 7 & 8 and my feet are wide. The size 8/9 were WAY too big for me. The 6/7 actually fit OK, but they still felt a little loose. They had lots of colors, $29.99 per pair.

That wasn't what I was looking for, but I was really glad to see them in person and try them on!

We were in WDW last month, and I only saw one other person (a 13 year old girl) wearing her CROCS. She noticed I was wearing mine, and we smiled at each other like we had a great secret

I am in the healthcare industry and I spoke to a social worker the other day who had on Crocs. I asked him if he like them and he said he loved them! He said that he used to wear much more expensive shoes but actually likes these better!

I saw these today at REI in Hingham at the Derby Street Shops (not sure if that's close to you or not) I did try them on quickly, but they did not seem to fir me well (they felt too wide), but they did seem nice and soft. I had the same initial thought as you - my feet would sweat and slide around and I'd end up with blisters. just thought I'd let you know where you could go check them out first hand.

BTW ~ I've seen your posts on other threads about the pretty rugged Tevas so that's why I was at REI to try them on. Didn't end up buying them though ~ I'm going to wait and see if I can get them on sale a little cheaper once summer time hits (if it ever does around here, lol)

On the fit--keep in mind they are supposed to be slightly big or loose feeling and once you walk in them and get used to the feel (because they are different from reg. shoes) you will walk in them like there is nothing on your feet!! It is the hardest thing to get used to I think but really, there isn't supposed to be a "perfect fit" or snug fit--it is the hardest thing to get past with these shoes but that is the way they are made--FOR COMFORT.
As far as support--it is kind of hard to explain but once you have them and are wearing them, they mold to your feet some how kind of like a memory thing and the support is built in with tarsel bar and orthotic heel cup. If you have never worn this type of shoe or a clog before it is almost a leep of faith--but sooo worht takin!!! Once you have worn these shoes for a few weeks I would be surprised if you find them hard to take off!

Hey we are neighbors!!! I actually live in Erie but Boulder is just easier sometimes. I drive my kids to school in Louisville because I have them open enrolled at Fireside Elementry--I acualy first saw Crocs there at school and thought UGH,,,those are kind of ugly (big bright pair of yellow I think) but when I tried them on at Flatirons I was INSTANTLY sold because I have so much trouble with my feet.
We were at Disney on Jan-26 thru Feb 5th maybe the same time as you. I am ready to go back NOW....but you know the weather has been so nice here it is hard to think of it--wait until the snow starts coming in...I'll be crying for disney (though I really LOVE it when it snows here so maybe not)

I know, I know....another leap of faith if you will...but I tell you that your feet DO NOT sweat in these shoes. I never got a single blister. I am not say ing that it isn't possible but if you were to get one it would and could only be from the shoe actually rubbing on your foot...not like tennis shoes which I totally had way more blisters with than any shoe ever! I think the key here is room--give yourself some room with these--My are much Bigger than what I would normally wear but better conforming to my foot when I am walking..I have lots of room and play but the support as well.
