What CROCS did for me!!

My MIL just bought me a pair of these and I have been wearing them every day for about a week. They are very comfortable and the really don't smell ( I know that's gross but my Tevas can get aromatic at times). I'm excited to hear they worked for you at DW; I think I'll take mine now. I was curious as to whether they could give you blisters but I haven't had any rubbing or anything. I usually wear orthotics when I'm walking any amount of distance so it will be interesting to see if these work. I'll be anxious to hear others' reports.

I forgot to add this for the person wondering about sizing. I normall wear size 9-9.5 and I have the Medium (8-9) size and they even have a little room, so I think they run a little big.

I wanted the purple (of course) Beach style, but the distributor's website was out, so I had to send an email to backorder them. The CROC website didn't list purple as a color option in the Beach style, did it?

We bought some in the Metro style for dd,11, while shopping for her Easter shoes!!! She saw them in Filene's and fell in love. She wears them now, but with socks. I was wondering how they would be for WDW also. Looks like I'll be getting some myself. Thanks for the insight into the sizing. I wear a 9, so wasn't sure if the medium would fit. Wonder why they don't offer regular sizing on the Beach model.

I have a pair of these and love them........wear a size 6 1/2 shoe and the the Small fits me wonderful. I also would like to suggest Chaco's. This are even better (in my humble opinion) that the Crocs and here's why...2 years ago, I trained and walked in the Breast Cancer 3-day, 60 mile Fund Raiser and did this wearing Chacos. No blisters, no sores, no lost toe-nails like thousands of others. Once again I am walking the 60 miles in Tampa Oct, 2005 and have purchased a new pair of Chacos to train and walk in.........the Crocs will be my evening footwear. Both are great!!!!

...as a quick follow up.
I am interested in the NILE style, and wear a size 8. But usually when I buy shoes that fit "MED women's 8-9", they are too big. Do you think I could get away with a small, womens 6-7? Not that I think you know all the answers, but telling me how you normally buy the sizes will help. Thanks!

I am in between sizes on crocs I bought womens small so I could wear strap on top, they said they would stretch alittle (toe touches), the Medium was way too big I would have the wear the straps on the back I didnot like how that looked. The small fits fine, I just hope they will stretch just alittle Not much. I LOVE THEM AND RECOMEND TO ANYBODY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :Pinkbounc :grouphug: :grouphug:

My family LOVES CROCS, my sister-in-law bought all of my girls CROCS for Christmas, they are wonderful. I bought myself some shortly afterwards. We wear them with fun socks and without socks...so comfy either way! I'd say you want them a bit big rather than your toe hitting the end.

I bought a pair at our Working Womens survival show and I cannot wait to wear them. I mostly bought them for the water parks as the regular water shoes the soles tend to bunch up and then you just cant wear them anymore. I thought they were so comfortable although a bit ugly. but i have seen uglier so i am not worried about it!! comfort wins out over vanity!!! :cool1:

ok, I just bought a pair to wear to work everyday. have been wearing doc martens, but my feet are KILLING me everyday so I thought I'd give these a try, got the highland in black. I'm hoping they're as good as ya'll say they are!

Are there any retailers that carry Crocs??? I have very strange feet and MUST try them on before I buy.

Maybe DSW????

I am very excited to learn about these shoes! I think I'll get a pair for work, and if they're as great as you say (and I think they will be), then I'll get a pair for WDW too! I work in an operating room, so I'm on my feet all day. I currently wear Dansko's at work, and when I first got them they were great. Leaps and bounds better than my sneakers! But I've almost twisted my ankle several times and acquired plantar fascitis in my left heel.

Thanks for the info! I'll post back after I get mine!

I don't believe that DSW carries these--however I know that you can call them at 303-468-4260 and ask them if there is a place in your area.

Answer to another question--yes you can buy the purple caymans on line at www.crocs.com

As far as sizing goes I would highly recommend the next size up--they may feel big at first but they will eventually be more comfortable and the right size--Just my experience.

D4D-- I have the same exact thing and you know I wore Danskins for years and twisted my ankle twice in those shoes.
I think these will change things for you tremendously!! I also have Plantar Fiscitis and as you know it can be VERY painful to walk long distances--that is why I was amazed at the crocs. Everyone is different you know and may not have the same experience but I feel as though I am an extreme case here and if they can work for me hopefully they will help others!
Good Luck

I found my first pair here in Naples, Florida...ordered off the web site for others. Don't forget they not only come in S M L but for aprox. $10 more, they're sized by regular foot sizing..check the website out and you'll see what I mean.

Where did you find them in Naples. I'll be there on vacation in a few months and would love to try them on.

The Wallabytrading Co. located in the Fountain Park Centre on Airport-Pulling (actually on the sw corner of AP and Vanderbilt Beach Rd.

They also have a shop in the Bell Tower Shops, on US 41 in Ft. Myers.

For those of you looking for dealers in your area they do have a dealer listing page on the website. Try this link, http://www.crocs.com/dealers.asp. When you get to the page go to that little box in the middle of the page and find your state. It will then pull up a listing of all the dealers in the state with addresses and phone numbers.

Hope this helps,
Lori

I ordered a pair, I hope they are as great as everyone has been saying!!!!!!

I think they are going to be all the rage soon--everyone will be wearing them in all rainbow colors!! Sometimes comfort wins over style and always in my mind especially for WDW! Read some of the testimonies on line, it is interesting wear people wear their crocs!

When I wore mine at WDW I knew people were looking--I didn't see a single pair other than mine, but I saw a lot of people sitting down with their feet up--I just kept moving on!
