Okay so I'm at Disney for a week and miss like
9 pages of the
Crocs thread.
My experience with Crocs...but first I just have to say what a fabulous time we had in Disney. Very sorry to return to not even luke warm weather here in Southern Ontario.
Okay back to the story...I have red Caymans and wore them from morning to night for the first 3 days of our trip. I did bring another pair of shoes (Doc Marten slides) and thought I would at least try them out. I got sore burning feet and not blisters but that rubbed feeling, so back to the Crocs I go for the rest of the trip. My feet were very happy

My feet were rather sweaty in them and I would have personally preferred the Nile version. I'm a sandal kind of gal and wanted to show off the lovely French Pedicure I had for my trip

but as Crocs in general are not yet available in Canada I did the best I could and was thankful to even get my Caymans.
My feet did get a little dirty as more "things" can flow through the holes but on the Kali River ride where we got wet and then wetter still when it rained in AK I was thankful to NOT be wearing my leather Docs. I didn't like the wet feeling inside them but they never rubbed or gave me blisters when they were wet.
I am very happy with my purchase and the performance of the shoes for me on my trip. My feet did start to get very tired on the 7th and 8th days but whose wouldn't after all that activity. My legs and feet did not suffer that burning sensation when you've been on your feet too long though. That was nice.
As for Crocs sightings...My 3yr old pointed out some nice bright yellow ones to me. "Mommy she has the same shoes as you". In all I saw 5 different sets of Crocs and I received an unsolicited "I love your shoes" from a lady wearing Berks.

I also ran into a fellow DISer in the Barber Shop at MK. She was wearing Beach and her daughter in Niles.
I also found another DISer on the bus and I asked her if she read the Crocs thread. When she said she had I pointed out my shoes. We had a laugh together. It was such a great trip.
We have a trade show in Toronto showcasing the Crocs but it's not until August. I'm hoping to score me a pair of Niles before then. A summer of Crocs so okay I'm a convert, I love my shoes
