What brings a tear to your eye?

The song at the end of Illuminations, "We Go On" gets me every time, but what really brings tears to my eyes is going 0 to 60 mph in 2.8 seconds with the RnRC launch! :smooth:

The Spectromagic parade. The lights look even prettier through my tears!

I always get a lump in my throat when we pull away from the MK for the last time!

Standing on Main St, watching the fireworks. Just reminds me of being a kid and watching Disney on TV.

Besides everything, you mean? ;) Illuminations, every single time! Seeing the castle for the first and last time on every trip. Certain area music in the parks (especially the Innoventions area music and the fountain music).

I tear up everytime I watch the commercial on the WDW site with the little girl trying to put on her princess dress.

Oh my goodness. I can't believe I forgot the preshow to Honey I Shrunk the Audience. The "True Colors" presentation.

I even get choked up when I hear the song on the radio at home just thinking about the pictures they show.

That is my absolute favorite preshow. :p

Golden dream

We go On

Two Worlds, One family

Leaving your WDW resort hotel knowing you won't be back to Florida for 2-3 years!!!!

For weeks before our last WDW trip we prepared my very shy 3 yo DS for meeting the characters, hoping he would not be afraid. We repeatedly asked him, "What are you going to do when you see Mickey?" He would respond, "I gonna give him a hug." We spent our whole first day w/o seeing Mickey but just as we were leaving EPCOT we saw Space Suit Mickey. We were the only family around him. My little guy got up out of his umbrella stroller, head bowed, arms outstretched and slowly walked over to hug Mickey. We got the embrace in a snapshot but I don't need to see the picture, I will never forget it.

Also, a baby being born....even if it's only on TV.

"We go on" does it every time. We have it on CD and I choke up no matter how many times I hear it.

Also, the Great Moments film at the end of the Disney Animation Tour. I walk out of there with tears rolling down my cheeks.

Two years ago seeing my first interpreted show! Festival of the Lion with Vince and Angela doing the interpreting and my daughter's friend performaing the aerial ballet. WOW!

Seeing my daughter off from the Miami Airport to join the cast at Tokyo Sea in Japan.

When the cast member says welcome home as we are checking in to Fort Wilderness.

And Fantasmic! Thank goodness its a little dark so everyone doesn't see my tear stained face and red eyes!

Also when Tigger rode with my 2 DD's on Winnie the Pooh which was their very first ride at WDW ever... I don't think they get how special that was.

Pammypooh

The music from SpectroMagic

Illuminations

Waking up on the last day of the trip :(

So many moments in WDW bring tears to my eyes. Usually the first time that I stand on Main Street and see the castle brings a tear to my eye. It's an awesome feeling realizing I'm actually in the happiest place on earth. I also get teary eyed during Spectro Magic!!!! Oh, and of course when it's time to go home :(

So many things ...

Driving under the gates at MK for the 1st time on the trip.

The sights, sounds, and smells of Fort Wilderness.

Seeing Main Street and the Castle for the 1st and last time of the trip.

Fantasmic, Spectromagic and sadly, the long lost ToD!

:bounce: :Pinkbounc

Definitely the greatest moments footage at the end of the animation tour at Disney-MGM.

The part where Mickey comes out of the big present during Cinderella's Surprise Celebration at MK.

When Kevin, my DH, finally got into the hot seat at WWTBAM during our last trip.

And, also at the end of our last trip, I couldn't stop the tears from flowing...I guess that's why Kevin immediately booked us another trip for our anniversary in July!

It's the music that gets us going:
1) "Golden Dream" at the American Adventure.
2) "We Go On" after Illuminations.
3) "You'll Be In My Heart" at Tarzan Rocks.
4) "Part Of Your World" at The Little Mermaid.
There are so many other moments, but these are the "ones".

on Earth.

no fighting, no confilct, no war, I am a big John Lennon worshipper so when the "earth" lights up I see my wife and my daughter next to me, then I feel like I am living in the world everybody dreams,

"imagine all the people living life in peace...."

:p Know what's funny, Friday night, we were at the movies, to watch Nemo. Well, we are in line, getting our tickets, and I realized I was all excited, and I started to tear up! Mind you I'm almost 30! LOL :p I don't know if it fact, knowing we are going soon to WDW or what. Some type excitement, knowing it was a Disney movie! Could be the fact too, that movies are "treats" for us. The last time we went to the theater was in December, to see second part of Lord of the Rings (we haven't been thrilled with the movie choices lately, and wait till it's on video).
Well, anyway, after feeling embarrassed that seeing a "kid's movie" makes me tear with excitement, I remembered this thread, and started to giggle, and thought, I guess I can now add this one!

34 days and counting! :sunny:
