What are your thoughts about plastic bottled waters not being offered anymore?

Sure they were expensive, but were handy, as they have no alternatives that you can close.

“We don't have plastic anymore” being the reason.

We always travel with reusable water bottles.
Same. My SIL personalized a set for us that we bought at Costco and we carried them everywhere for the last few years. Mine has since broken, but we got new ones for the next cruise.

My feelings aren't so much about the no plastic as they are about having those tin bottles. They just taste awful! I always bring my own bottled water on board anyway, I like having them in the room in the morning, but when I ordered one on CC last summer I could barely drink it.

No thoughts, never purchased water on board any cruise. For excursions I have an empty bottle to fill up on board and take with us.

We loved the aluminum water bottles on our last 3 cruises. We thought the water tasted great in them. Then we just refilled as needed on deck 10.

OK, I missed hearing about this one. What are they using now? We depart from Vancouver.
I like using reusable bottles, but sometimes it is easier to bring a disposable one so we don't have to drag it with us.

Dasani cans and I hate it in either bottles or cans.

Looks like Vancouver has Evian bottles. They look glass, but that isn't very safe to bring around the ship.
Evian is our go-to brand while traveling. We always bring a few cases on board. Would love the Aluminum bottles in lieu of anything plastic.

Tend to avoid Dasani - which tastes the same as the ship's heavily chlorinated water.

The WONDER had EVIAN in glass liter bottles when we did the PC, but only from the bars. It wasn't available to have sent to your cabin when boarding. They use to offer it in the smaller bottles, but stopped for some reason.

Not only does it not taste that great, but a case of canned Desani is $65! No, that's not a typo.
Sure, you might be able to buy a case of water at Costco for $10 but on the ship, be prepared to be gouged, then bend over and grab your ankles. Sheesh!
I actually started a chat with GS on our last cruise, thinking maybe we were charged incorrectly. Nope.
We expect to pay a premium price for such things at WDW, resort areas, concerts, sporting events, etc. This just felt like highway robbery. I told them that is the last time we ever buy bottled water onboard. We will definitely pack our own next cruise.

The Magic has small Evian glass bottles, and small San Bernardino cans (apparently some famous Italian water) — they don't have a lid of anything that can be closed after being opened.

(Didn't inquired about large bottles.)

I am not a big fan of paying money for water when you can get it on deck if you bring a bottle, but with the current environmental concerns, plastic bottles are probably not happening unless you bring your own.

Hate this. Yes, they gouged you but we always purchased for convenience. We also bring refillable bottles but there are times where you don’t want to get out to get more water or don’t want to have to take the refillable with you.

For those that bring a case water with you on the ship, can you check that with your luggage or do you have to carry with you until your room is ready?

You have to carry the water around with you until your room is ready.

I have been checking the OnBoard gifts because we usually get a small amount of water bottles to have in the room and at first they weren't available to buy and now they only show 24 bottles available. I know you can purchase on board but like to have it set up beforehand, especially now if you get on board and can only get 24 bottles. No thanks!

So you could, in theory buy a case of water bottles at the first port and bring it in with you?
